I have a little story for spacers out there

It all started back in 1978 when Lego started making classic...........

Nevermind lets get back to topic :-D

What Space theme would you like to see?

This is sort of a Ideas for New space sets thread ;-)

I know alot of people don't like MM so what space sets would you like

It can be any theme or even a new one like Venus World or Crab Nebula Journey

Have fun and lets get rollin'

:-)

Weird aliens *alien* and wierd alien ships. The more unusual the better. The 2007 martains and vehicles are almost exactly the sort of thing I like to see. The aliens themselves are a good concept but they needed to have poseble arms and heads.

Well, I despise reworking the old Mars sets into the current line, so I'll take us away from that entirely.

Mission: Deep Space

Human ships sent out to explore. Each week they encounter new droids and aliens, including at least one lovely alien temptress *wub* per episode for the human captain to woo *giggles @ woo*. Wait, this is sounding familiar, but doesn't involve any licensing fees. It's perfect!

A big ship/playset. Smaller fighters and probes. Alien ships and bases in any style. If LEGO wants to find an excuse to add some old themed pieces back in, just aim the next alien civilization in that direction and you're all set. Got a bunch of jungle stuff? No problem! Desert colours overflowing in the warehouses? Go for it! Overstocked in Galidor leftovers? That's your problem, don't try to pawn it off on us... not again.

This whole theme is, of course, impossible, simply because it involves LEGO actually making new female figures, but hey, one can dream.

Anything with better aliens, the MM aliens looks ridiculous. Though, if they had been posable I guess they would have worked a lot better. And I'd love to see something Babylon 5ish, especially a White Star looking ship.

I'd love a new Spyrius or Blacktron theme. Eh, I think I'll go for Blacktron. They had nice walkers, especially the Suborbital Guardian *wub*

I really liked Life on Mars, UFO, Insectoids, and Exploriens. I really don't like the new MM theme much. The dropship and astro fighter and trike look pretty cool, but I really don't like the aliens. The ships aren't LEGO-ish, the aliens are unposable, and it just isnt like the old stuff. I know Life on Mars was kind of different too, but at least the aliens were posable and the mechs were cool... and the aero tubes. I wouldn't mind a continuation of the UFO theme though, use the same figures and color scheme, maybe make a huge flying saucer bigger than the ships they already made. Well, there's my thoughts.

Space police 1 and Blacktron 1. Best ever and I would love to see a new version of them. I also think something with minfigure aliens would be great. Just add an alien head, hands, legs/tenticles or combination of those parts to make some new aliens.

a rocket salvage/production theme

1) a big production plant for space ships or rocket

2) a finished rocket/ship with some maintenance things

3) a salvage truck/ship and crane to salvage crashed rockets

4)...

any "traditional" theme would be great, a theme with a large space station, a smaller space ship, a truck,...

There are 2 themes I would really love to see:

* a retro space cool theme in the spirit of Jetsons and Futuram (probably never going to happen :-( )

* a sub city them *wub* like they did back in the mid 90's (launch command in 95 and Space Port in 99): a real discoovery of space without crappy aliens, stupid arms and tube launchers and all that rubbish !! Just pure satellites, shuttles, space center and what have you !!

That I would be a real hardcore fan !!

I think an alien like the ones from the 2000 Mars theme is trans green GITD would be perfect and awesome *alien*

Piranha

<O> <3 U.

Really, just make a whole space line of ships that are black, lime, with TONS of trans neon green.

BONUS points if Lego uses 9V ultraviolet blacklight bulbs like you find in spy pen toys to make the trans explode with vibrant light.

It's got to be a classic revival!

Blue & Grey and the old moon logo!

I'd love to see official reworkings of 918, 920, 924, 928! (I'd love to see re-releases of them too, as part of a LEGO limited edition "VINTAGE" theme!)

I get all dewy-eyed when I think back to those late 70's sets!
