lightningtiger Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 AWESOME layout with a cool mix of sets and MOC's 'CoolerTD'.......Brick On ! Quote
gazumpty Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Wow...epic work...I agree with LT...you have a great mix of MOCs, MODS and sets in your city. I was wondering where all the 'sand-green' bricks had went :P I love the scenes you have set throughout your city..something I'm planning...though not on this amazing scale! Have you got Will Ferrell hiding in there :) Quote
CoolerTD Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 (edited) Thanks! all the buildings are MOCs, transport are sets (approx 70%) and MOCs (30%) Sand green I have ordered in LUG BULK program (5000 1x2 bricks, 1000 1x6) the size of the layout is 4*2 meters (8*15 standart baseplates) And I have Four 9V train rings with timers ) No, I have not Will Ferrell :))) Edited March 18, 2015 by CoolerTD Quote
AirborneAFOL Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Wow, incredible layout. Really love the overall look, as well as the scenes you've incorporated. How long have you been developing this? Do you maintain it in your home - have you ever taken it to an expo for public display? Quote
eliza Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Wow, amazing layout. Reminds me of the LEGO movie... loads of energy and humor Quote
Ex cinno Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 What to say? wonderful layout, with several buildings really impressive and so many details to be observed. Quote
CoolerTD Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 Wow, incredible layout. Really love the overall look, as well as the scenes you've incorporated. How long have you been developing this? Do you maintain it in your home - have you ever taken it to an expo for public display? Thanks! It takes me about 4 years to build this, and I periodically rebuild it. It stands in my own Museum - Exhibition of LEGO models in St-Petersburg - Russia, So everyone can see it ) Here is Castle Display, buil by me and other AFOLs from our RLUG http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=108162 Quote
