Sir Gillian Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) Hey! At a small river lies General "sir" Cedric fortress Wilton Castle, the castle has not been involved in significant contention, but was one of the first fortresses built by the Lion Clan. People also seek out happily to the castle to fish in the river, and maybe even look at the beautiful view from the main tower. This day is Sir Gillian and his sister Darina there to greet General Cedric. Bregir Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 I saw his on Flickr and it looks really good! You have packed a lot of details into a relatively small build without making it look overcrowded! (Btw, you can put larger pics (800x600) in your post in the future - these small ones doesn't really do the build honour) Quote

Jacob Nion Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Great castle! So many fun details, I'm not certain I have seen them all yet. Great techniques also. Especially the tree turns out well. Quote

LittleJohn Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Fantastic build, Sir Gillian! I love the opening back and roof on top of the tower, as well as the interior Great work on the landscape and thatched roof too Quote
Blufiji Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) Excellent old style castle. Just the right amount of detail and not too busy. Edited March 15, 2015 by blufiji Quote
robuko Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) Oh this is really really nice. A very classic feel, but lost of beautiful detailing. That bird tail is great parts use, and the tree and birdhouse are really lovely. Edited March 15, 2015 by robuko Quote
Gideon Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Very nice castle! Clean design yet suitably detailed I like how you've done the edges of the main tower, simple but very good-looking technique. Quote
Capt Wolf Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 A busy scene, but clean at the same time. Great job packing in the detail! I especially like the bird and birdhouse in the tree. Quote
Sir Gillian Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Oh, there were many kind words! Thanks so much everyone! Quote
MassEditor Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Pretty build! As others said, this has such a nice classic feel to it. Many little details to appreciate here, but my favorite has to be the bird house and the little bird in the tree! I really enjoy this build! Quote
de Gothia Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 What a great first moc! It has such a classic castle feel to it mixed in with some new techniques and improvements! I really like the bird! Quote
Kai NRG Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Refreshing to see a build that's not for Challenge C! Nice work on this one, particularly the tree but the walls are very nice as well! Quote

soccerkid6 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 This is gorgeous I absolutely adore small castle MOCs, and this a great example of how to do one. An excellent overall shape and aesthetic, with loads of small details packed in Great to see you included a wonderful interior, with hinging wall no less! You should be very proud of this MOC Quote
