E-wing (LDD MOC)

Hi there!

I have been absent from both Lego and this forum for some time now, but i recently found interest in this wonderful hobby again.. The sad part is that all my bricks is in storage, so i have to make due with LDD..

This model is my first finished LDD model, and overall im rather happy.. I would have liked a bit more SNOT, but the scale and angles made it hard.. I have tried to make it look like a official model, and included some playfeatures, like the astromech compartment and such :)

Here are the pictures:

I used the E-wing from FFG's X-wing game as a reference, and most of the angles and dimensions are right.. The nose should have been a bit more angled, but i couldnt make it that way..

Please let me know what you think of it :)

This is relly good! The shape is perfect, and I love your solution for the nose. The side of the man body looks nice plated, as does the wings. The only thing I'd suggest is sprucing up the engines. They look a little bland in the front. Overall, this is a fantastic model! I'd love to see what else you could do.

I really like this a lot, it looks perfect to me... Up until the nose :( it just seems slightly too bulky to me :s

I do love the body though and the fact R2 can fit in it snuggly.

One day Ill do one of these and use my action fleet e-wing as reference.

I do love seeing other people make these, especially this good as it gives me something to aim to!

This looks fantastic, man. I love it! Looks like it really belongs in the rebel fleet with that livery.
