mediumsnowman Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I was looking at set 4429, the hospital from 2012, and decided it was too small. Now, I shall present my expansion! I added a baseplate, fully enclosed the garage, pushed out the wall to accommodate an emergency room, and expanded the recovery room. The upper section can be removed for access to the ER. Having problems with my computer, so more pictures on my Brickshelf gallery (when moderated) http://brickshelf.co...ry.cgi?f=553722 Comments and criticism welcome! Quote
wooootles Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I like it. Reminds me of the 'big' police/fire/medic buildings' floor plans/baseplate in the '90s, but with the modern 4429 architecture. Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Neat modifications, but that doctor with that odd nasty looking saw is a TOTAL WORRY ! Brick On 'mediumsnowman' ! Quote
gazumpty Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Yeah I agree...he doesn't look like a doctor Great MOD...I always liked this set as it reminded me of my first Lego building...the hospital from the late 80's I think. I like your spatial improvements. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Thank you for your comments! I originally had that doctor with a medieval broadsword! I decided to "downgrade" to a saw. :) I can't say I was going for a "buildings of old" feel but in retrospect I suppose it does remind me of those. Quote
LittleJohn Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Nice modifications! I like the equipment inside Quote
mediumsnowman Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 Nice modifications! I like the equipment inside Thanks, but I can't really claim credit for the equipment. I took the brilliant medical lab designs from the inside of Arkham Asylum. Quote
