Flow_Rian Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Hi! I'm new here, later i will introduce myself. My name is Florian, i'm from germany and doing a apprenticeship to a gardener. Belonging to the german group 'MoRaSt', i build modules for the big community installations. After posting at http://www.1000stein...rofil/?id=14884 all the time, i want to show you my Monorail. It's a Subway you can find in Berlin, it's a bit mixed of all subwaytypes you can find there. I orientated at this type: http://www.berliner-....de/uff7479.htm . Now some pictures, it's not my best skill to explain in english (: I will be happy about some praise, or criticism! Florian (: Quote

dr_spock Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Welcome aboard. Great looking creation. Is the body held to the base by two studs only? Quote
jamesed_1971 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Looks good, a nice train / subway train, Quote
zephyr1934 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 That is a great build and looks like the real deal... well except for the fact that it is missing two of the three rails (grin) Quote
Electricsteam Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Can you make monorails any longer or is three wagons the max? Quote
Flow_Rian Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Hi again! @ dr_spock: it's held to the base by 6 studs. Unlucky creation, but seems to work with the 6 studs (: @ Electricsteam: It is possible to make longer Monorails (no limits), but the monorail motor has to work very hard on more wagons. At my Ubahn there will be more wagons possible. I have builded a Monorail SBahn (also the S-Bahn from Berlin), because i have lighted up the inner rooms there, it is very heavy - i don't want to stretch the motors too hard (; Thanks @ all for your positive Feedback! Florian Quote
