Chorduroy Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Hey everyone, We just did a train show in Saskatoon, SK and my contribution was this train station/hotel combo. It is loosely based on a hotel made out of an old train station in Tokyo, but it is mostly off the top of my head. There are no interiors, sadly. Check it out! pirzyk Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Nice! Is the back detailed or just plain? Quote
Chorduroy Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 Nice! Is the back detailed or just plain? it is detailed as well. I forgot to take a pic of it, but I will definitely do that when I reconstruct it for our next show in a month's time. I will have to rebuild it a bit as I had to pack quickly and it didn't survive the 2 hour road trip back home very well ... Quote
MusicaRibelle Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 More pictures, please. It's massive, and looks very detailed, great work. Let's see more when you have time! Quote
Robin Creations Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Nice! I like the walls and supports. Not sure about the white roof on the first and second pictures, though. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Huge and totally cool! But I've one question: why the kids are playng with skate and bicycles near the rails? Quote
cgarison Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Wonderful work! It looks like the classic C&O train station in the town I grew up. Quote
ecmo47 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Great build! Dont worry about interiors unless your planning on entering a contest. Having an interior is about like saying "I've got a 10197 at home!" Quote
Man with a hat Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Very nice. Great architecture. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 That is a great station with a lot of great details. Quote
