Just as the title says, how many of you like the Avatar series to return, or to get some Korra sets? I highly prefer Avatar. The sets TLG produced were not very good, except for the minifigs. They look very nice. Link to the sets.

Just to be clear, there is no evidence TLG is going to make more sets, nor are there any rumours I have heard of.

I thought this was the right forum for this topic, if not, sorry.

Well, for the fans of those shows it would be great, but not so much for TLG since those shows are over and there is not much demand for sets from them. Therefore, the only way we could still get sets from those shows is through Lego Ideas projects (such as my Appa  ), so go and support them! :sweet:

Well, back when the set were released, the was a competition between these and the SpongeBob sets. Which ever sold better would be brought on for a full theme. SB won, as that had a few seasons and a huge fan based under its belt.

Avatar was just starting out and in its mid first season, I believe , and an iffy fan base.

Would I have liked more, yes! Iroh, Azula, Toph, for starters!

But with SB and Now TMNT with MB, I think all nick shows fall under that belt.

Supported! He looks amazing!

Yeah, it's a shame the show is over. Understandable SB was more popular.

Would also be nice to get the Rhinos the firebenders use...

Well, if it were to be done better, then why not (well, the fact that there is no ongoing TLAB media is a pretty good reason why not...). I disagree on the minifigs though. I think they looked pretty horrible, and I would even rank them lower than the Clone Wars ones...

Okay, done!

I have to admit I'm actually not familiar with the series yet, but do want to check it out, and as a pure LEGO theme I thought it looked interesting. I'm going ahead and supporting your project on those grounds, as well as to thank you for your contributions here (and because your project looks neat, even if I don't yet understand what it represents).

I would like to see a new seies redone. Just because the figs were ugly dosn't mean the new ones would have to match. Many set possibilities here, like a war baloon and Fire Nation tanks would make an impressive army. Looking on BL the other day, and saw the Fire Nation ship for about 250 dollars. Nope.

I have both of the sets (minus figures) and they are good for modding.

A return of the Avatar theme would be great! It's quite possibly the best television show around!

Sadly it's just so late and it's been six more seasons after the very first and only two sets. Could it be that LEGO already predicted the probably unsuitable-for-targeted-kids ending of the seventh season?

I always think the artworks for both characters, buildings and vehicles fit in the LEGO world but are also different from our current range. Although part of the Asian and elemental power might cause conflicts with LEGO's own Ninjago series, it's storyline has great depth for both girls and boys.

The show is done, since a third generation is unlikely happening. The other possibilty is to see a remake version (as theatrical animation, no, not the live action one.....) in the future.

Spongebob is another disaster. I'm sure LEGO Out Of Water sets work better than Ninja Turtle ones in most aspects.

I was always surprised that either SB or Avatar got any Lego sets. They were clearly experiments as they lack one of the core elements that Lego seems to focus on when licensing television properties. Multigenerational. Spongebob just barely hits that these days where it may be noted that current SB viewers were not yet born when the first seasons aired.

You think so? As far as I can tell, both shows do actually have adult followings, particularly the Avatar and Korra stuff (I see it extensively covered all the time on sites like The Mary Sue), but also Spongebob Squarepants. It certainly skews more to kids, of course, but I know older viewers do watch.
