Hello eurobricks,

Second post here, wanted to share my Ginivex-Class Starfighter as seen in The Clone Wars series. This was flown by Asajj Ventress shortly in a couple episodes. There are two basic styles of this ship, the original having more of a 'bubble' cockpit. I chose this style because I hadn't seen anyone build it yet.

LDD file is on MOCpages.

This was very fun to design. I'm still looking to improve the 'sail' with a better material of a solid color. I'd like to 'accordion' it but I haven't found the right stuff yet.

Thanks for checking it out :)

Very good design woodnman412! You created nice angles that fit gabless together on the cockpit, the rest of the design looks also great, and the fact it can fold up makes it even better!

I paint thin fabric with clear paint, and that makes it stiffer, and I have "accordion" it before.

TYVM for the tip. Someone told me starching the fabric would help also. Do you use a laquor or an actual paint?

I use clear acrylic paint that comes in a plastic bottle. It makes the fabric feel very similar to the lego capes.
