Paul Boratko Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Back when I started seriously getting into building some 15 years ago there was a guy named Jonathan Stephenson who had designed some really awesome Technic cars... Of course this was before everything had gone full studless... I know that many people here have probably never seen these models, so I would like to share them as they are amazingly well done... I don't know if he still builds or not as I haven't seen anything since these cars from 2000.. IMO they still hold up even with today's new full wave of parts... Corvette Mustang Quote
jorgeopesi Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 The corvette bodywork and the mustang rear axle are fantastic, I thought I had seen everything and still there are nice surprises. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 It's great to see the older models, and love his style in that days it whas stunning  Quote
Rishab N Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) That Corvette looks fantastic. I wonder how many other brilliant MOCs and builders have been forgotten due to them building so long ago. We should make a "forgotten builders" topic to honor all of these older builders Edit: created one Edited February 19, 2015 by Rishab N Quote
dougstar Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 The corvette is fantastic I see he used fiber optic for the fire sequence in the engine Quote
braker23 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Thanks for the thread idea Paul. I just love old-fashion studded cars, and these 2 are simply amazing. Rishab, will certainly visit that new thread :) Quote
zux Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 These look way more sturdier than recent mocs (this was a huge downside for me when I got my first studless Technic), I imagine these shouldn't bend or twist too much. Quote
Lipko Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Yes, thank for the information, I always wondered how fully studded Technic cars would look like. Quote
