Sir Brickalot Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 In your opinion, what set has the worst price per piece ratio? I think the new City Spaceport is a true contender, with 586 parts for $119.99! Over to you! Quote

antp Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Good find, I didn't know that it was sold separately. But anyway I suppose it wasn't the original idea of this thread Edited February 16, 2015 by antp Quote
Faefrost Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Gross weight is still probably a better price indicator than piece count. Quote
Lego Engineer Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Gross weight is still probably a better price indicator than piece count. This is the way I look at it. A lot of sets that contain a bigger selection of above average sized pieces are great value by weight but not by PPP. I've found that in Australia the perfect number for a good value new set is AU$100/kg or around US$35/lb. Anything less is a bonus. Edited February 16, 2015 by Lego Engineer Quote
alanyuppie Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Those with tank treads! I considered 1 tread loop in the model to be one part rather than 60++ pieces. Quote
