This just struck me as funny... X-D
:-D that was great.

im guessing i have about 18G's... which i thought would be low in comparison to other EB members. but it actually looks like the 10-20 is the most common response. imagine that !!!

How much lego do you have sinner? ;-) :-P

Actually I said in the first post; under 50,000. Not a lot, but enough to start taking up a lot of room!

Do BL store inventories count?? >:-)

Sure; assuming it is yours to sell! :-P

Sinner can you change my vote to 5000-10000 i've voted 1000-5000 because i've dont have any other choice.

I wish I could. I can't even modify the poll :'-) ; I would need to be an admin to do that.

EDIT: I just noticed some kind admin fixed my poll mistakes. Thanks!

I'm having similar thoughts making my (***MOC withheld***) and I wondered the same thing. Apparently it is my turn with our brain. I think once the smackdown and jar jar and whack are all done we should host such a contest! Screw the poll. People will be interested...

:-$ me? ego?

My idea with the poll was to help determine what sets to use.

In that case, someone else should definitely start it. Who knows what sets your flippers will put in there! Wouldn't it be more fun to randomly draw sets? *sweet*

We could start a thread and let people add ideas for sets that are good to MOC with and after 4 pages or so ask J or someone to lock it, then throw the sets in a hat and draw four...

What do you think?

:-$ Thanks

quick side note: have you seen the simpsons movie yet? There is a sequence that reminded me of you.

So why don't you start this in the YOC forum. I can help out more there and we won't have to bug SW4J so much, although I probably still will. *sweet*

BTW, I am starting a thread for Sinner v Hinckley in the YOC forum tonight with some crazy pics I took of our sig-figs fighting. *wacko* that way we can start building some publicity for the big smack-down! But I think that is a better place for the competition since it is an MOC competition...

EDIT: We can eventually turn that thread into the competition poll...

unless my internet goes down again in which case I will start in tomorrow...

I think I like that idea. I just love to build MOCs using limited sets. ;-)

...and they are very good too. *wub* I am starting a topic right now to discuss the idea. (I haven't got Super Nova however; it was a TRU exclusive in Australia and there are none close to my home.)

No, sorry. I haven't been to the cinema for years; I love movies but I hate babysitters...

I have between 20000 - 30000 according to Peeron (I only list full sets there) and what I can see in plastic boxes waiting to be sorted around here.

It's not that mad to make a Peeron list, btw: you just need to remember when you receive a package or come back from the store to click on "add copy" from the set page. Of course it would take a while for anyone with a large collection to do it from scratch, but I'd recommend it to anyone starting to collect LEGO.

I agree. I do the exact same thing. When I first started using it I had trouble as I couldn't remember all of my sets from 30 years ago. Sometimes it was clear I had a set becasue I owned a certain piece. For example I own a black classic sword, and that only came in one set...

I would have to say a wee bit over 500,000. Not sure exactly, but I will before year end.

I will be the first to say I have too much. And yet not enough of some parts.

Well, I used to have around 70 sets, but got rid of nearly half of them, mostly Bionicle, since I don't like it much anymore. Now I have about 30 sets.

I have no idea on how many pieces I have though... so I voted no idea.

well ive been collecting lego since i was 4 and thats 12 years in total. I never or rarely buy two of the same set, and i clearly dont have the buying power some of you guys seem to have. I have filled up one corner of my dads loft with pieces, and im sure he would say i have a million, and that number doesnt seem too ridiculous, just thinking about it, but its probably less.
