Captain Hannibal Joost Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Hi everyone, Did anyone try to use this part, for the sides of a galleon for example? Is this too big ? Quote
Mr. Townsend Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) That is quite a sizable part to fit into a ship. What area of the ship were you thinking, side galleries? Edited February 12, 2015 by Mr. Townsend Quote
Capn Frank Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I've always wanted to attempt a brick built bow of a long boat using a couple of those bricks. Quote
Captain Hannibal Joost Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 That is quite a sizable part to fit into a ship. What area of the ship were you thinking? Side galleries? Exactly. With a gap (for gun) and 2x3x1 slopes between each of them. But i'm not sure it will fit well with the global shape of the ship. I've always wanted to attempt a brick built bow of a long boat using a couple of those bricks. It's hard to get the correct angle, I presume, to make this bow as realistic as possible. Quote
mrsniady1 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I've used this part in my curent WIP Neptune. You can notice this part underneath the side galleries. Also, Kolonialbeamter used it in his LDD projects, for ex. here. Quote
Captain Hannibal Joost Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Nice use, Mrsniady1 (nice ship and beautiful stern!). I didn't see them on Kolonialbeamter project, where are they? Quote
