Ephseb Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Dear X-Men-Fans, I got set 76022 X-Men vs Sentinel on a 30% sale as a parts pack. Do you think I should keep Bag 1 (Magneto, Wolverine figures and the Sentinel) sealed and sell it later or do you think the parts are useful enough to justify opening it? (I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question to you) I appreciate any thoughts and will consider your advice and it will play into my decision. Ephseb Quote
Oky Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Well, it depends. What do you want to use the parts for? If you need a bunch of curvy purple and magenta parts and Mixels joints, then yes, they are useful. Also, if you don't have these minifigs already, I would keep them. This is the only masked version of Wolverine right now, and Magneto's hair is also exclusive in that color I believe (except for the SDCC Collector minifig). It's not a stupid question, but it is one that only you can answer. Quote

Vindicare Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Since you're contemplating getting rid of them, I guess it's pointless to ask if you collect the figs. So, I'll just say, as Oky did, that this is likely the only time you'll see either fig as they are in this set. Of course, that could also lead to some nice dollars selling them. I'd take a look at eBay, Bricklink and such and see what they're all going for on average and decide from there. Quote

Ephseb Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 Thank you all for your nice replies! If I open it within the next week, I'll put the figs into zip-bags right away. (where Cyclops is now) but, like with Storm, I may use Magneto's head and hair (Ardus Kaine anyone?). I already have some Ideas what to do with the sentinel....I'll post pictures when I have some time off and get the chance. all the best, guys! Quote
