Corvette3 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) I'm currently working on my first MOC, a Ride-on Lawn mower (sound rather boring now that i think about it). It has 4 motors: 1 XL for drive. 1 Servo for steering. 1 M motor for blades. 1 M motor for Dumping open the grass catcher. Pictures: Close-up of blades and underside: Seat, steering wheel and some control sticks for detail. 3/4 view and close-up of rear. The back is unfinished as i try to figure out a grass catcher and dumper. Edited February 10, 2015 by Corvette3 Quote
TinkerBrick Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Outstanding idea! Looks good so far. Do you plan on installing some sort of cover for the blade. For safety reasons. The poor technic figure could have its leg chopped of. ;-) Quote
__________________________ Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 The wheels seem unrealistic- never heard of an off-roader lawn mower (: You could use the Unimog wheels, or wheels from 9395. Quote
Corvette3 Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 I don't exactly have a lot of wheels, i do have the unimog wheels but they are much too large i also know that Ride-ons have smaller front wheels but i don't have any that would match up, larger wheels would require a rebuild and i barely think ill have the time to finish the build. i'm also very unhappy with the bumper. finally, i don't have any technicfigs but i do have this figure of Miyako from Hidamari sketch, she seems to be a tad small though. Graydingo Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Cool moc! Agree with a blade cover suggestion. At least an outline so we can still see it in action. Quote
