Hi, I got a Lizardman minifig from a friend and have some problems with it. Whenever I push the helmet to the head, the helmet pops out.

So I tested to see if the stud on the head has a problem or if it's the stud receptacle in the helmet.

Other helmets work fine as with hair. But I pushed the helmet and put it on other heads and it pops out.

I am not a technical person but I think the stud receptacle on the helmet has a factory defect. Or deformed.

May I know suggestions how to overcome this?

Lizardman minifig? I'm not sure which fig you are talking about? There are a few it could be, and none have any design or systemic issues that I am aware of?

If it weren't discontinued, I would recommend telling LEGO and they would give you a replacement... You know what, I recommend letting LEGO customer service know and you will most likely get a free gift...

I think he means the Series 5 Lizard Man

Thanks for the suggestions. But I live in an isolated country where there is no lego office. And the Lizard Man minifig is probably in used condition. It didn't come with a bag. Just the minifig itself given by a friend. And yes, it's from series 5. I am wonder if I can do a repair or a rework, but it's difficult since it's inside the helmet.

Is this the lizard man?

Take a look inside the helmet. There should be a round hole that connected to the stud on the head. See if it is perfectly round and there is no plastic deformed. Compare it to a hair piece or other head accessory you may have. Check that there isn't something else stuck in the hole too.

If the hole is malformed, you could try shaving some material with a sharp hobby knife like X-Acto to make it fit the stud on the head.
