Timento Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) I posted the gif. images on BS but it did not work as fast as it should, so, if you wanna watch my movies, you have to follow the links, right click to Save Image As (yes it is playing but not at normal speed ;-) ), it will download and then you can watch it at normal speed ;-) http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/timento/...ovies/sedme.gif http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/timento/...ovies/seste.gif Now, about the movies: I made them awhile ago... I just didn't bother posting them by now X-D My stop motion powers have doubled since then, btw X-D There's no story and no sound, sadly... I hope you like 'em Edited July 24, 2007 by Timento Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) Not bad for your first attempt! I especially like the first one and the beach. It looks like real sand. Is it real sand? X-D I have done some stop-motion. Well, really just pointless animation tests. The link is here: It is just clay, no legos. I have done lego stop-motion, but I don't not know where the casettes went. Timento Posted July 24, 2007 Author Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) Why thank you *sweet* But I can't follow your link, try making space between ' : and http ' ;-) EDIT: Sorry, just realised you edited your post That's really some professional work, and the clay creations are great *y* *y* *y* You must make some Lego stop-motion movies Edited July 24, 2007 by Timento Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Thanks! My brother created the clay creatures. I want to make some lego ones, but I need to find a good, cheap editing program, like Stop-Motion Pro, or something like that. Quote

These are really great. Just to let you know, if you let the animated gif download completely from brickshelf and then hit refresh, it plays at full speed. The animated gifs take a while to download every frame, especially at the size you've built these at. That being said, I really love the details in these. The waves, the wind moving the flag. It's really great. Can you get your hands on flash? You would have a field day with that program. Another suggestion would be to use a lighting setup. I started a thread about mine here. It's a tiny bit distracting that the lighting is inconsistent from frame to frame, it gives the impression of flashing. But, I really enjoyed them and thank you so much for sharing! What a great thing you've accomplished and I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us! *sweet* *y* Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Amazing little films. I'll make plots...... Film one: After being marooned on a desert island, our brave band sets off into the woods to find food. Film two: The sequel to film one; Our brave band returns to the ship, ready to duel with the captain. There's my two cents (its worth a Squishee). Quote

Thank you for the really nice words, hinckley39 *sweet* Yep, I've tried that, it gets stuck somewhere in the middle, and doesn't wanna play the second time... I noticed that thread, but thank you anyway :) I didn't use flash but I agree, the lightning is inconsistent. There's a little story behind that... I was shooting in front of a window and sometimes I was standing in the front of the window (and covered the light) and sometimes I wasn't (and I let the light through) X-D Noticed that when it was on the computer, silly me X-D And thank you for the really nice conclusion of your post :) Amazing little films. SirNadroj Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 You're brother must be a true sculptor ;-) Me and my brother made that in Gimp, btw. Yeah, we're twins. He considers himself a pro, since he has his own buisness card promoting his clay.:-|| (I have a card as well, because I commission lego mosaics. I can do anyone or anything. My moaics can be found here: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/33184 Just a little advirtisement brought to you by 'SirNadroj Creations' ;-) ) (Not to be off topic X-D ) Quote

Me and my brother did mine in Gimp, not really a stop-motion program, but I guess it works ;-) Nicely done indeed. Thank you :) Quote
