__________________________ Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I have made Sariel's 4-speed servo in MLCad. The file is very sloppy, however- some parts are going through others. I am new to MLCad and I am still impressed with the results. Could anyone help correct the transmission file?   I shared the file first with Sariel so it's OK The file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/47tdsp9wwmt7or8/Sariel%20Scania.dat?dl=0 The .pdf (not mine): http://sariel.pl/down/4speedservotransmission.pdf The video (not mine): Quote
Sariel Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) First of all, if you wanted to have my Servo gearbox in MLCad, you just had to tell me. Here it is: https://www.sendspace.com/file/y0vrau Second, your first link points to a file with my Scania Racing Truck, with Servo gearbox added somewhere behind it. I'm not sure this is the result you wanted. You can save models as separate files in MLCad, you know. Right now it looks like you're putting everything you do in MLCad into a single file. It is saved as a .pov, which I can't open in MLCad. Quote

How do I open that file in MLCad 3.4? It is saved as a .pov, which I can't open in MLCad. It's .ldr file. I don't know where you got a .pov file from. I triple-checked and the file I put on the Sendspace is .ldr file: Edited February 1, 2015 by Sariel Quote

When I download the file, it's opened in LDView. I changed the file extension from .pov to .ldr or .dat, but MLCad won't open it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Quote
Sariel Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I have no idea how you can download .ldr file as .pov file. It downloads and opens correctly for me. Quote

One question: how do I import one MLCad model (this one) into another one, the Scania R500, which I will use this cool gearbox in? Edited February 1, 2015 by TheLegoExpert Quote
