JaseTJ Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Ah, well, like I said I'm on 360. PS has an early exclusive on that and Ant Man. Still, that was only a character pack, no? Any chance we could see a Civil War level DLC after the movie? They're being awfully secretive about Spidey, and they've still only had the one trailer that I've seen... Quote
legosamsonite Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 So. The collector, ronan, and nebula but no guardians of the galaxy. Nova, luke cage, iron fist, and white tiger but no spidey My only two cents ;) otherwise great game so far! Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 So. The collector, ronan, and nebula but no guardians of the galaxy. I've seen rumours that there's going to be a LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy game next year. Maybe that's why? Quote
legosamsonite Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I've seen rumours that there's going to be a LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy game next year. Maybe that's why? Like, both movies? Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Like, both movies? Most likely. If it comes out next year, it'll probably be to tie in with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2. Quote
Savage Oppress Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Most likely. If it comes out next year, it'll probably be to tie in with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2. or it could release later this year in Fall 2016, with Lego Dimensions 2.0 releasing in Summer 2016. Quote
Ultron Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Purely guardians sounds unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised if they were just saving their movies for a Lego Avengers:Infinity War game. Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 or it could release later this year in Fall 2016, with Lego Dimensions 2.0 releasing in Summer 2016. They've already said there won't be a sequel to LEGO Dimensions. Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I have beat the levels and I can say it's a great lego game! I would definitely recommend it if your a fan of the Lego games. Now I have to try to get 100%. Quote
JaseTJ Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Any good tips on getting back to the story mode after going to freeplay? I like the game so far (Running up buildings as Quicksilver, Hulk-leaping and climbing on buildings as Hulk is great fun for getting around NYC.) but I feel like it's slightly less organized than Lego Marvel Super Heroes was. Quote
Ultron Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Really fun so far! But I feel like the audio could've used a lot of work. Quote
Lego lover 88 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 any one know hen the AoS dlc part of the season pass is coming? Quote
Captain Britain Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Hi all - I haven't played this game for long but last night I got into NYC and robbed a car (exactly what Cap does.. right?). Is it me or is the steering shoooooooocking? I'm not expecting anything 'car accurate' of course, but the things hardly turn?! Quote
ToaDraco Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I've beaten the main story and I'm going for the solo film levels. It's a really great game so far. My biggest complaint is the jumping around that the story does. It's completely unnecessary and and adds nothing the the flow, if anything it completely ruins the flow and I'm baffled as to why they did that. All other LEGO games follow the progression of the movies like they should but this one just throws it into a blender. I hope this doesn't become a new trend because it is awful. One other thing I hate is the lack of a map. Why would you have an open world game and not have a map!? The minimap isn't that helpful and it's a shot in the dark every time you head for one of the little glowing dots. LEGO Marvel Superheros had a nice map but they couldn't be bothered to include one in this game? Also, do you think we will get a DLC pack with playable characters based on the sets releasing later this year? It's baffling that Spider-Man isn't in the game and the only explanation I can think of is he's getting his own DLC(hopefully) I really, really want Ghost Rider and his bike in the game and considering he's getting his own set this year, it stinks that he isn't in the game nor is any of the other characters coming out later this year except White Tiger for some reason. Lord-Vorahk Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) Picked the game up, beaten the main story, now going around to collect the character tokens in the hubs before moving on. It's definitely a step up from the last game which is a little obvious, TBH. Things like not locking characters behind the terrible races, slightly better flight controls, and the fact that the cars actually have some weight to them and don't swerve around like, well, a plastic toy. Really pleased with the Hulkbuster, but I must say, the fact that Wanda can't hover or double-jump and just has that sad little combat role is a bit of a letdown. Anyone know if Civil War Wanda can do more than that, or is she just a clone with a different outfit. Some of the characters chosen surprised me. I really wasn't expecting Clor (Ragnarok), and I find it a little odd that certain characters are given subtitles despite not needing them. For example, Wasp (Classic) is the only Wasp in the game. Same with Human Torch (Original). That said, I've got the Prima guide, but I have to say... They really did screw the pooch when it came to navigation. There's no map or minimap, just a tiny radar HUD with no details indication of what it actually is that you're aiming for until you're already on top of it. The sole reason I was able to get around NYC in Lego Marvel was the map and waypoints. Removing them makes navigating the NYC hub a complete chore, and when it has forty-odd character tokens to find... that's really poor game design, and for the life of me, I can't figure out any reason to do it. It also results in all of the "Find four people" missions being unnecessarily frustrating because the radar blips for these entirely stationary NPCs keep moving around. In that respect, it's a lot like Lego Marvel: A very good main game with a hub/postgame that's let down by some really poorly-implemented design choices. Edited February 4, 2016 by Lord-Vorahk Quote

JaseTJ Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) Yeah, there's an Ant-Man pack coming which will most likely have MCU wasp, and Human Torch is probably labeled to distinguish him from the better-known FF which are obviously not in this game. As for the steering, yeah, I have to brake to turn properly at all, and even then... I definitely prefer to use Quicksilver or a Bigfig for the races. Edited February 5, 2016 by JaseTJ Quote
Lord-Vorahk Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) Has anyone else noticed that the ally AI has been nerfed into the gutter again? They won't even help you pull switches anymore. And because of this, one of the Stans in peril (On the Helicarrier) is pretty much impossible in single player. And there are no solutions present in the guide: The Helicarrier hub doesn't even have a section on Stans in peril. *EDIT* Turns out it was a mistake on my part, but still, the AI is pretty awful. I was quite sad to see that the character creator is just as bad as it was in the original LEGO Marvel. Still no capes, powers still being assigned by build rather than choice. When I got Beyond Gotham, I'd thought that it was just a bad decision on the latest iteration of the feature. I was quite surprised when I got Lego Marvel and it turned out to them keeping a bad design choice from a previous title. What's especially baffling is that the Lego Batman 2 character creator was perfect, at least on the 3DS version. Choosing your characters' powers was a whole separate thing, and it bothers me that they changed to this frustrating and rather half-assed version and then decided not to change it up again. Sure, you can stick a weapon on them to ensure they got those powers, but not all of the weapons are in the creator. Sif's sword and shield are absent, for example. Imagine if the character creators in LEGO Star Wars had done this. "Oh, you can't give your character force powers because you didn't make them almost entirely from Jedi parts." They'd better fix this for the next game. Edited February 8, 2016 by Lord-Vorahk Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Well I didn't preorder a copy of the game, but I went in to gamestop non the less hoping *maybe* I might finagle a Sliver Centurion. I asked about the fig and a employee said they didn't have enough even for the people that preordered... So yeah. This is going to bother me. Quote

Marvelous Spidey Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Does anyone know how to redeem the Civil War DLC? It says it was available from release date, but when I click on DLC it just says "Coming Soon". I tried when it first came out and recently too. Quote
