Cool design 'Ska 2D2'......interesting concept, looked it up and found they were actual trains prop driven ?

Brick On 'Ska 2D2' !

There sure were! Even more recently than 1929. Check out the 'Aerotrain'. Cheers!;D

Great work. Like the exposed engine as it all looks functional, no pointless greebles. There was a prototype aerotrain built in Glasgow i believe but the project...err...didn't get off the ground...

Cool... wondering if it could actually work.

The original concept in Germany did but was eventually scraped. The danger to passangers stood on station platforms being one of the reasons!

Yeah... I understand why it's not the greatest concept in real life... just thinking out loud. I think it could work in LEGO.

Nice. If you put power functions in that prop do you think you could actually make it move?

Unfortunately no! I thought about how to power it and I think I would have to alter the front a little to allow a coupling, then build some sort of wagon to put the power pack in! If the blades were altered so that there was a slight angle on them maybe then they would turn as the model moved forwards. Next time maybe!
