Yoshieekid Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hi All, I am just getting back into building again after several decades of non-LEGO activities. I played with LEGOs as a kid in the 80's... mostly just loose bricks + baseplate, and a few of the space-themed sets. My son turned 4 and received a lego City police set. When building with him, it re-sparked my love of LEGOs! I have since gone a little wild with getting a bunch of sets to build with him, and some Technic sets to build when the kids are sleeping. :-) I really enjoy the powerfunction technic sets, or sets that I can mod to add powerfunctions to. I am working on building my collection up so I can start creating some MOCs once I get enough pieces. My son and I just finished building Benny's Spaceship (SPACESHIP!!!!) together, and it's wonderful how we can connect with our mutual love of building. I am psyched to look around this site! Quote
Slegengr Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Welcome to Eurobricks, Yoshieekid! LEGO building is a great way to spend quality time with your child! Of course, you can still have your own collection that is more advanced than a 4-year-old's level of understanding! Quote
