I am new on this forum, but I have a problem. In 2013 I bought for my children the train set 7938 and last Christmas I have added cargo train 60052. Both sets works excellent but we have a small issue with the remote control(s). Now we have two identical remote controls and both of them works the same. I mean only one side of the remote works and it moves both trains in the same time. I thought I could have one side of the remote working with 7938 and the other side with 60052. What can I do to properly use the remote? I have tried the switches from the engine/remotes, nothing, I have the same issue. Thanks!

My guess is that you have both trains set to the same color (red or blue) and the same frequency. I would suggest you look again and put one train on 'Red 1' ( color red, frequency 1) and the other on 'Blue 1' and try that.

At first, I was not sure I understand the answer but when I explained it to my kid he understood imediatelly and made the change. Everything works great now, we just wait to add another set of tracks in order to cover a lot more space!
