Tamamono Posted January 19, 2015 Author Posted January 19, 2015 Voting is now open. With 7, it takes 4 to impeach.
def Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 It feels good to say this. Very, very good. An end to stupied. Vote: Molly (Mencot)
badboytje88 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 This won't come as a surprise. Vote: Molly (Mencot) I am seriously getting frustrated over your lack of self defence. All you are doing is badgering me. Stop it ane stick up for youeself in stead of bringing me down.
Lady K Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Rep. Callaghan, I am interested to see what you have to say in your own defense. Vote: Molly Callaghan (Mencot)
def Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 She still hasn't explained her claim to have a night action. All the regular ones are accounted for, she's on the block, and won't explain it. Not good.
Lego Spy Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Unless better defenses are given: Vote: Molly Callaghan (Mencot)
Adam Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Vote: Mencot (Molly Callaghan) Well everyone here is what happened yesterday. We, the town block, decided not to kill in case we killed a Loyal by accident. We didn't wan't to deminish our numbers by killing the wrong guy. Next we decided to investigate our town speaker since we weren't sure we could trust him. He came up non octan. So far Molly is our only non investgated member. Unless some shocking new information comes to light, and unless Molly (Mencot) decides to rouse herself and come up with a better defense than calling us stupid, this day is at risk of stagnating after everyone places his or her vote. As such, I propose we fire up discussion by playing a little game: who is the godfather? Bjorn (badboytje88) has pointed out that Molly (Mencot) is the only non-investigated member of this assembly. Since I'm sure anyone found to be "Octan" would have been singled out, that means that everyone here has only a town read. One of us is the godfather, and I'm curious who everyone thinks the godfather is. In case I formatted my vote wrong... Vote: Molly Callaghan (Mencot)
Lady K Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Mr. Speaker = the godfather. I've seen him represent himself as the godfather before. His actions these past days have been similar to then so.......
def Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Actually, they haven't been similar at all. I suggested the town block leave me out of their night plans more than once, and the PRs that we've lost are not the ones I'd take out as scum. Investigator is number 1, protector number 2. Both are alive. Furthermore, in that case as godfather, I never caught scum, except by accident. The one scum I caught was by accident, a townie traitor not on my team. This time, I've helped catch two, and the town block knows it based on our discussions. Hopefully that puts such silly accusations to rest, and I hope the town block can verify this. Addie still seems like a good choice. I still don't trust her vote flip yesterday, and continuing to focus on me despite all signs pointing to my loyalty.

I changed my vote based on solid new information brought to the table that made for a more informed decision. Yes there are signs pointing to your loyalty, but would you trust you if you were me? Archie suggested we keep up discussion instead of the day stagnating, so that's what I'm doing. Don't you have any other choices? Thoughts for discussion? Or is this going to be a long and boring day with no conversation. I have noticed that we are the only two trying to keep the discussion going, anyone else care to comment?
MagPiesRUs Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Vote: Molly Callaghan (Mencot) If Siegfried has been cleared by the investigator again, I'm inclined to believe he is loyal. It's still possible that he is the godfather, but most of the scum actions over the course of the week don't support this. Even if he is the godfather, I've run the numbers and it looks like we'll be able to get through every godfather candidate before the scum can outnumber us anyway.
Lady K Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Point proven. I have seen other representatives come and go, it's so quiet in here. Guess I'll go get a drink of some sort. Well, with one down (Molly) that leaves only one to go.

I have noticed that we are the only two trying to keep the discussion going, anyone else care to comment? No, that was not "solid" considering it was all completely wrong. Literally all of it. Personally, I would trust me. While the town could imagine I'd been recruited, it is silly to think I'm the godfather. I'm a big fan of Occam's razor. If signs point to loyal, I go with it. The vig was not automatically admitted to the town block in case they were a SK. Once signs pointed to them being town, I let them in. That's how I play, reading loyalty based on info given. And I helped lynch two scum. I'll state it again: no scum team would bus two members. It's just too dangerous. Bobby's theories were terrible, and they got him lynched. I've been saying Molly is the worst, but it's no longer true, now Bobby is the worst. And you followed him, against all common sense. We have to wait for Molly to explain her PR claim. That should stimulate the conversation.

Don't you have any other choices? Thoughts for discussion? Or is this going to be a long and boring day with no conversation. I have noticed that we are the only two trying to keep the discussion going, anyone else care to comment? What solid new information? All Bob provided us with was rambling, wildly inaccurate conjecture that ignored any argument made by myself or Siegfried (Speedy). I have a question for you. I've been peaking through the transcripts, and I took a look at the moment Gerald (Goliath) not-so-subtley revealed that he was the blocker. This was your response to his post: Now either you have said too little or too much? Care to share more or elaborate on this statement for the rest of us? I find this most curious. Also, you find me suspicious yet you vote for someone else? I don't like fishermen and fisherwomen. They make me suspicious. Why were you fishing? I have been thinking the same thing. With all the trust from others in Mr. Speaker, I never voiced my concern. But it is a possibility that we have to consider at this point. The above is from yesterday. Very sudden and very convenient, your sudden mistrust of Siegfried (Speedy). Bobby has made some good points. I want to hear others thoughts on these issues. Mr. Speaker is highly suspicious at this point. But why am I constantly on your scum list Bobby when you don't say why? What have I done that is scummy? Molly's posts are still in the strange range, but I just don't see your logic on Archie. Yes he should have shared the bribe PM with us at the start of the day, but I don't see it as saving himself to look townie by waiting till the end of the day. If he has been bribed then by sharing it now he is basically advertising he switched sides. I think the scum want us to fight amongst ourselves and dwell on the possibility someone was bribed. It is tearing us from the objective of finding them. I agree. I don't see any reason why you would have, as like you said, the only thing it would do is draw unnecessary attention. This next question goes out to both Addie (adventurer1) and Lloyd (LegoSpy). Most of Bob's accusations hinged off either the harebrained notion that there is no vigilante or the idea that I was scum and I had faked the conversion message. It would be hard to go along with Bob's accusation of Siegfried (Speedy) without also being suspicious of me, since Bob grouped the two of us together as scum and a lot of his reasoning for Siegfried (Speedy) being scum relied on me being scum as well. Yet both of you argued that I was most likely town, and that I probably didn't fake the conversion message. Why were you so selective about which of Bob's arguments you believed? To me, it looks like you were using Bob's attack as an excuse for getting a confirmed townie out of office. Alright, call me scum and an idiot Siegfried, but I'm changing my vote. I've been thinking about it alot, and I feel we need an impeachment today. I don't know how Tiny feels, or if he'll even vote, but I think we do need a lynch today, and overall I think Speedy's defenses to Bob's accusations haven't been sufficient enough to justify his claimed townness. Really? Your main reason for voting for Siegfried (Speedy) was because you were trying to ensure that a lynch happened? That's the most BS reason ever. Of course there was going to be a lynch, and voting for Siegfried (Speedy) instead of Bob didn't make it any more likely that a lynch would happen.
def Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 It was plausible for one townie to fall for Bob's "solid information," but unfortunate that everyone out of the block did. I really hoped that Lloyd's vote on Bobby would have cleared him today.
Mencot Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Vote: Bjorn Borchard (badboytje88) I guess this day is over, now when all have voted. Lets fast forward the day to the end. It is nice to go out in style, All votes me, I´ll drink to that Too bad this game will be over soon and the loyals will lose against Octan.

Of course there was going to be a lynch, and voting for Siegfried (Speedy) instead of Bob didn't make it any more likely that a lynch would happen. I will admit, that after taking a look over the Bobby vs. Siegfried argument yesterday, that changing my vote was a fairly stupid decision. As for the reason I thought a vote on Speedy would help ensure a lynch... I'm honestly mystified at my own brain's capability to look at numbers and understand them...
Mencot Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 You explain why there wasn't any "kills" last night. And don't give us that stupid thing Bjorn said because I am not buying that.
def Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Molly, you explain it. The logical answer is that the scum target was protected. Now explain your night role. You claimed one. If you're town, and you go down with that a secret, you're a horrible team player. If you're scum, just keep at it as you are, it doesn't make a difference.
Mencot Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 There is not much to say about it and that is the logical answer. And it is good to hear then that town can protect themselves against scum.

But you do relize that Bob actually was town, so he had some points in what he was saying.
def Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 But you do relize that Bob actually was town, so he had some points in what he was saying. No, it doesn't mean he had any points. It means he thought he did. That's a huge difference. So far, you've done nothing for the town, and you insist on going down doing nothing. It's baffling. Pierce tried to help the town. Bobby tried to help the town. You? Still waiting...
