DamonMM2000 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 So eh, I have an RC buggy motor from the 8421 crane. This creates a dumb dilemma. The buggy motor is so expensive on Bricklink that I can't convince myself to use it in a moc, even where the form factor would be useful. Also it's (assuming I read Philo's site correctly) outlandishly powerful, which is never a requirement in the places I could use it. So keep it? Sell it? Give it away? Or get over myself, and stop finding first world problems? I think we know the answer here... I would definitely keep it! Quote
grum64 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 ...Never understood why Lego discontinued them. They are very powerful. Anyone know why LEGO stopped producing them? Quote

andythenorth Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 (edited) So just why is this motor so in demand? Edited January 17, 2015 by andythenorth Quote
SheepEater Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 1) They are very powerful 2) They came in the 2nd best technic set of 2003 and the best technic set of 2005. Quote
Graydingo Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I'm in the market for both the RC motor and the power puller tires I want to put the tires on my 9398 and I'm interested in building a supercar with an sbrick and the buggy motor. If you want to part with them, one afol to another, I would offer a fair price. I just don't see myself shelling out close to $100.00 for 4 power puller tires and wheels any time soon. Rather save up for the 2015 flagship. I do like the idea of letting your kids play with it. Quote
