G'day everyone.....yeah, just discovered a problem with plans for a silo at the end of my town........according to my math......90 bricks high, at least 64 stud width and 40 plus depth.....oh, dear.....I think I'll have to look at the larger round metal designs as they are not as tall.

Keep watching !

Just a quick written update.......plans are underway for a CFS shed and an old train station house (which might have to be a modular one.....disused so I don't have to make an interior for it).....keep watching !

Looking forward to seeing your take on a CFS building LT, will there be a truck or two to go with it? Can I suggest that the police get a building as well, I can imagine them making use of a small house somewhere along the street with just a single sign out the front. Always great to see the little updates and scenes that you throw together in the mean time though.

I have some bad news.....thanks to a stack of bills coming in and cash flow poor some additions might not get off the ground for Brick-a-laide.

Though an old house at the edge of the main street is still on the cards.......but the fire station might also be an issue if I don't find my old model to modify.

Please do keep an eye out for future updates of NM.

Thanks 'Rob1321' and 'Lankygit' for your kind words, now I have chosen a house design......mid-19th century and maybe sandstone with white quoining.....not sure yet. Looks like I'll be firing up LDD shortly and start digitally MOCing it before brick building it......I don't design too many houses.

Keep watching !

Nice house so far LT, is it just the one tradie and his dog to finish the roof? At least he can duck straight to the Royal afterwards for a cold one

Hey LT....I've not checked in on this progress for a while (and for that my humblest apologies). Its all looking good...as usual your buildings and architectural design is spot on!

I'm focusing on your streetscape too...the power lines are such a simple idea but really effective. I'd love you to continue this and populate your pavements with little MOC builds of street furniture and items of interest :)

Great work!

Well, everyone after the house under reno's I might knock up a few small items not sure yet what......suggestions ?

Thanks for the kind words 'gazumpty', 'Criga88' and 'XAxles'.......keep watching for the next installment of my town.

Well, there is a post box out the front of the post office plus a phone box on the side of said post office......but I guess some seating in the main drag in front of the IGA/True Value store might be an idea.

I might also put some roof trusses on the house ready for re-roofing.....not sure yet again......keep watching to see what else I can come up with.

I always come back to this same stale comment but it seems appropriate here: your town needs trees. Your street looks very nice and everything is good quality but it appears so concrete without some more foliage to soften the edges. Even the most arid towns' horizons are dominated by tree cover.

Something like this would bring untold life to your town.

Street trees are not all that common in main streets of towns in Oz.....unless it's down the centre of the road......large medium strip in other words.

I might be able to produce a tree in the park at left side of the main street........otherwise known as where the street stars or ends.......depending on which way you look at it.

Thought did cross my mind of a centre medium strip, but not enough room on a 48x48 to do so and included my cool buildings in all their glory.

Hmm, I might do some tinkering in LDD with some tree designs first see how they look........I'm a bit fussy with some of my designs.......keep watching !
