Mencot Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 One more now and then we will see who is the biggest liar.
def Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Lloyd, you just got suckered. Sorry. Bob's accusations have had nothing to them, and every time one gets answered, he either moves on, or ignores it, he's just been saying it way more often. His example of the Ragnorok game (which was actually Tommo's mafia game, I think, don't remember), yeah, I was caught in a lie, so I bussed myself. Stanley's day three lynch? I caught him in the lie! Not, he was caught so he got bussed, but I caught the lie. He made a vig claim, I asked him to put it out who he "vig killed" and then I caught him in the lie. Totally different situations. Anyway, I'm right, Bobby's wrong, I'm not going to be lynched, he probably will, and we will all laugh about it tomorrow. I'm going to assume based on your @Addie that the above post was meant for me. First off, I don't believe in posting PMs, they are part of the game yes, but to actually copy and post doesn't feel right to me. But I can give you the content, it starts with a threat from you that who ever doesn't PM you will be thought of as scum and that you are already in contact with others. This to me meant that you already had your group formed and were testing who wanted to be team players and who didn't. Then all you did was describe how I should and shouldn't play. You didn't try to get anything from me and you didn't offer anything either, not that I expected you to. This told me that I was an unimportant vanilla townie to be used at your disposal and you already knew my loyalty. Not cool. Then when I was confused about something and asked you a question, you side stepped the issue and responded very blandly. This told me you really didn't care what I thought or did so long as I followed your lead. You seem to be side stepping issues brought up, and the one that concerns me the most is the constant conflicting points brought out in the open that you are ignoring. I am still confident with my vote, again if I'm wrong I'll deal with that tomorrow. Yeah, sure, you don't believe in it. It is easier to paraphrase it to your advantage. So, your PM, titled "Unimportant townie" Ok, I'm contacting you. As you can see from the Message Subject, that is how I feel now that I know you have contacted others and ignored me. Why haven't you contacted me prior? As far as what I'm doing, well, I'm reading the thread more carefully than my previous game. After you mentioned that some townies were working together and you failed to PM even once, I figured I was on my own. Why? Well, last game I contacted Mencot, he thought I was scum and jluck was town. Turned out the other way around, which sucked for me since I was vanilla town for the first time. When the scum took me out, no one looked backed to see who I suspected. So I'm trying to be more active and attentive this game. I thought someone would eventually contact me, no one did. Kinda sad really, but hey, this is a mafia game. Ah, poor wittle you. Nobody contacted you and then, when you died in a game, nobody scoured your posts! So I was nice to you, assumed you were just a vanilla townie. But, yeah, you got away with it for a while in this game, next time, I will be merciless.
MagPiesRUs Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Ok, I've been following the day closely and my thinking is still that Siegfried is more likely to be a townie than Bobby. As I've said, the scum have been playing messily and they've made quite a few mistakes - this suggests to me that the scum are still out of the loop. Were Siegfried scum, he would have been able to coordinate the town PRs and the scum actions effectively. Instead, we have seen at least one night in which the scum failed to kill. I still don't understand what Archie would have to gain from lying about the messages from Sinclair either. Those messages feel to me like another attempt by the scum to fish for information. Were Siegfried scum, he wouldn't have needed this information. Presumably, he already knew about most of the PRs. A lot of Bobby's argument rides on speculation about the remaining town roles. Combined with the private messages he has sent me, I get the impression Bobby is doing this in an attempt to fish for information and spur any PRs to show their hand. He also sent me this message: There might not be a tomorrow. If there are three scum, then there are five loyalists. If I am lynched today, Mencot will likely be killed tonight by the scum, and that will be the end of the game. Even if there are only two scum left, that will make it 3 v 2. The only way it would be 3 v 2 tomorrow is if the scum AND the vig killed a townie tonight. I suppose this could simply be a miscalculation on his part, but it is also possible this was a slip up. Bobby may have taken into account a vig kill despite his repeated claims that no such vig exists. I don't believe there are still three scum remaining in a game this small. Should Bobby be right, we will still have a chance to turn things around tomorrow. Vote: Bobby Benedict (Bob)

I don't believe in it because of my real personality! Obviously you have no problem with it. I didn't paraphrase to my advantage. I didn't/don't ask for you to feel sorry for me, I was just stating why I haven't contacted anyone. Threatening to be merciless next time is actually kinda funny, as thats exactly how your acting now. You sure are responding as the scum who is getting backed into a corner, how can I believe your town?
Bob Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 The only way it would be 3 v 2 tomorrow is if the scum AND the vig killed a townie tonight. I suppose this could simply be a miscalculation on his part, but it is also possible this was a slip up. Bobby may have taken into account a vig kill despite his repeated claims that no such vig exists. The second part about it being 3 v 2 meant there would be three townies versus two scum. Come on, you're smarter than that. It was completely separate to the earlier point. That explains the period. I've given myself a concussion on how hard I've been hitting my head against the wall. I can't use enough of the to fully comprehend how I feel. It's unimaginable that some of you people still are going along with Dixon. It's so frustrating that you people are just giving him the game. I will probably be lynched today. The Speaker role probably has some weird tie breaker function. I wouldn't be surprised. Expect it to be used against you somehow tomorrow. I'm at least glad you've voted, at least he won't steal your vote. I've never gotten angry at a mafia game before, because I treat them for what they are, games, but this is just ridiculous.

Threatening to be merciless next time is actually kinda funny, as thats exactly how your acting now. You sure are responding as the scum who is getting backed into a corner, how can I believe your town? What I mean is, a number of players have done this whole "I just don't know what to do!" thing with me since I've hosted mafia schools, and sometimes it's true, sometimes it's scum playing the noob. You've done it, that's your one time you get to do it. Next time you come in day three and say you don't know what to do, there won't be sympathy. I totally haven't been merciless up to now. You're still here, aren't you? Anyway, the town wins, I have the deciding vote as the speaker... and lucky for the town that I do! Which is exactly why I stepped up on day one, in case of this very situation. Sorry if I was too harsh today, but Bobby really really wants this lynch. I've ruined his game so many times, he knows the scum are going to lose, and he would just be so happy to take me down with him. Nope, not today Bobby, you will not get the boost you so clearly want I'm saying this going back to day three: Either you're playing your laziest game yet, or you're trying to hide something. Which is it, Mr. Speaker? You made it personal Bobby, that's why lynching you as scum is twice as delightful as it normally would be. Tonight's the night to kill me, scum. I'm not going to be protected, I'm not going to be watched. When I'm scum-killed tomorrow, everyone be sure to elect a speaker who voted for Bobby
MagPiesRUs Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 The second part about it being 3 v 2 meant there would be three townies versus two scum. Come on, you're smarter than that. It was completely separate to the earlier point. That explains the period. I know you meant it would be 3 town vs. 2 scum. My point is that in that scenario, the town numbers cannot be reduced to three unless there is still a vig around, which you claim there is not. If it is only the scum who kill tonight, the numbers will still be 4 vs. 2.
Bob Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I know you meant it would be 3 town vs. 2 scum. My point is that in that scenario, the town numbers cannot be reduced to three unless there is still a vig around, which you claim there is not. If it is only the scum who kill tonight, the numbers will still be 4 vs. 2. Ah, then yes, I have made a miscalculation. But it was not a slip up. Look at it this way, if there was an investigator and a vigilante still out there, and you're neither, why isn't it 5 v 3 right now in the votes? If you were either role you would have voted for me instantly. Both of these roles are gone. These two roles are gone. Bjorn is being a sheep and so are you. Please, please change your vote. Tonight's the night to kill me, scum. I'm not going to be protected, I'm not going to be watched. When I'm scum-killed tomorrow, everyone be sure to elect a speaker who voted for Bobby You're not going to be killed tonight. You're going to make it through the night and say "Whoops, I was mysteriously protected! Or the scum didn't go for me!" It's such megablocks. Bjorn has completely given up listening to anything I've said. There's a chance he's scum as well, or perhaps he's a third party. I don't know for sure. He said some mysterious thing about how the Speaker wouldn't be safe tonight and I haven't heard from him since. We'll see what happens tonight. Who said anything about Speedy being safe? What does this mean? I have no idea. I will repeat what I've said again. If Siegfried turns up town tomorrow, I've outed the entire scum team and the town win the game. When I turn up town tomorrow, Siegfried will still have the speaker role, he will still have the support of at least one sheep, probably Bjorn, and he will win. It's as simple as that. You're just giving him the game and I don't know why. It's just so frustrating. I can't use this one enough.
def Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Looking at the clock, you have about half an hour left to keep up your thing. Face it, you wanted the lynch first, you played up the slow kid, Molly, and decided to make a break for it, thinking it would explode on Molly instead of you. But it didn't, so you actually had to start playing. You were making it up as you went along, gambling on the number of town roles left, but you had no clue, which is why you slipped up in your PM to Tiny. It made for an exciting day, and it gave a chance for us to see how the remaining players were thinking both the townies, and the scum. But at the end of the day, the result wasn't in question. You lied. You fibbed. You deceived. And worst of all, you trotted out backwards strategy points as reasons to vote me. You know what that leads to: You better believe it.

Everything I've said is true and everything you've been saying is absolutely false. What will you say when there's only one kill tonight? "Oh, the scum must have targeted me, and I was protected because I lied." What will you say when I turn up town? "Oh, he was so obviously scum, he just ducked the game for all of us town now. Don't go for me, couldn't you all tell he was scum?" My only solace is that it's just you and Archie left, and that you're going to lose the game now when you're lynched tomorrow and Archie the next day. There is no vigilante or investigator or protector or blocker anymore. These roles are all gone. All that remains is maybe a watcher. And he's going to be killed tonight by the scum. I can't believe I'm being lynched based on a mathematical typo. If that's all it takes to fool you, then the town deserves to lose this game. I hope they change the titles of the town members that have followed Siegfried's orders without question to "Sheep" when the game is over. Notice how Archie hasn't even come back yet? He's not going to try and defend himself or Siegfried since he knows that Dixon can just lead the townies blind with his flute. Good luck, town. I only wish you'd be able to open your eyes.
def Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 There is no vigilante or investigator or protector or blocker anymore. These roles are all gone. All that remains is maybe a watcher. Oh, I like this quote. I like this one very, very much
Tamamono Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Final Vote Tally Bobby Benedict (Bob) - 5 (Speedy, badboytje88, Adam, TPRU, The Speaker) Siegfried Dixon (Speedy) - 4 (Bob, Mencot, adventurer1, LegoSpy) Day 6 ends with the impeachment of Rep. Bobby Benedict (Bob) ~~~~~~~~~ Reps. Benedict and Dixon have tossed aside their garments, ready to come to blows after a day of heated argument. Bobby is completely shirtless, but Siegfried keeps his undershirt on - he's not as young as he used to be! The crowd cheers. Who ever said government was boring? Benedict lands the first punch. "THERE IS... NO VIGILANTE" he chants as he beats the old man senseless, kicking him when he goes down. "Everyone, you have to listen to me! Siegfried is bamboozling you all! Vote for me! Vote for Bobby!" he yells to the crowd. "Wait, to impeach you?" someone asks. "Oh, shit, I'm not used to not making campaign speeches!" The Speaker begins to get up... And leaps upon Bobby! "RRAAAAWRRR" Siegfried lets out a fearsome battle cry as he tackles the man. Bobby struggles to get the old man off him. "Game's up, Bobby!" He gets up and prepares to curbcarpetstomp his fellow representative. Bobby, who has had the wind knocked out of him, cannot get up. "W-wait, no-" Nobody can look. Bjorn throws up. "Woah, dude!" Archie exclaims" "Sorry..." Bjorn replies, "I think I had some bad seafood! Bad timing, I know." "A winner emerges! Ding ding ding!" Siegfried chants, cheering for himself. Poor Bobby is knocked out on the floor. He'll be glad to have that dental insurance now! You have 24 hours to get your actions in.
