I am a father of 3 young boys (3,5,8) who all are really starting to get into LEGO (this past Christmas was all LEGO). I recently spent about a week sorting the parts of all the older sets they have accumulated to build them up again and in the process, I have rekindled my love for LEGO. My kids are into Chima, Star Wars, and City so that is what I have researching. I loved, but never had, the space themes when I was a kid in the 1980's and thus, I have been pondering getting some old sets from ebay to relive that! Quote

It is a bit dangerous letting nostalgia loose... you may find yourself with more LEGO than you know what to do with and much less money! I have, of course, personally bought sets I dreamed of having when I was younger. You may want to check out BrickLink as well when searching for older sets. I am looking forward to your community contributions. I also am waiting to see your future LEGO 80's space collection ! Quote
