Hi all,

I have got the incredible book from Peter Reid a couple of months ago and I really would like to build some of the spaceships.

I wasn't able to find any other clue / picture to even start to figure out how they are built.

I know it could be asked many time but, is there any place where to find more info on how to build those incredible spaceships?

Tnx in advance :sweet:

I'm somewhat in the same boat as giomel - I entered my "dark ages" in '86 and Lego's come a long way since then. I'm in awe of all the Neo-Classic MOCs, but the building techniques (such as SNOT) are a bit if a mystery to me. I have Mr Reid's book on the way and hope to maybe pick up a trick or two from that (I knew before buying it that it wasn't a full-on instruction manual, but that it did have some instructions for smaller craft/bots), but am wondering where else I can learn about building techniques in the 21st century....?

Lots of interesting technique demos in this flickr group: https://www.flickr.com/groups/788191@N24/

Ace builder Tardisblue also has some interesting demo's of how his intricate ships go together:

Plus there are some great tutorial threads here on eurobricks,

eg. Derfel Cadern's medieval village tutorial: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60907

Tree building techniques: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=68638

Advanced building techniques: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21936&st=50

Just google 'eurobricks' + whatever you're trying to build - to get some inspiration.
