Starwars4J Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Why couldn't you just upload this to the first topic you made? Another topic really wasn't necessary... Anyway as for the ship, was it your idea or was there any sort of inspiration from the EU and films? Also, what's all the trans-orange on the bottom? What's the function of the ship, and what's the space along the top for? :-) Quote

What's the function of the ship, and what's the space along the top for? :-) I should have, and I designed this without inspiration. I guess those trans-orange things are boosters or whatever. The space along the top is the deflector shield generator and its function is to carry separatist commanders mainly for evacuating or going from capital ship to planet, short-range shuttle. Sort of like the neimiodian Sheathipede-class thing. Quote
Starwars4J Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Ah, I see. I love the shape, but I do think it could do with maybe some engines on the rear (if it has a rear) unless it flies around on it's side? but then the lasers would do no good :-D Quote

It flies like the Slave I and the laser cannons are supposedly "retractable" Quote
Asuka Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 A very interesting design, and a cool and unique shape indeed. *y* Maybe some working features, like an entrance and some landing gear, would be nice. Quote

It is supposed to look organic, maybe a little bit mon calamarian, but the space is too limited for an entrance and landing gear. I guess passengers would have to stay in there forever! Mwahaha. Or take the ship apart. Quote
Corvus Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 smashy smashy... :-D Nice work. The more I see of this, the more I like it. Why not include the storing mechanism from the MTT in this? its not like droids need air. Perhaps on the bottom, but keep the top closed for organic passengers? Quote

Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 I remember air taxis from a deleted scene in Episode I in Coruscant. Your replies are very helpful, thanks. Quote
Corvus Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Isn't politeness on the internet nice? This is why EB is so great. If this is called the Viceroy-class shuttle, maybe you should try making a more luxurious model for Nemoidian royalty? Just a suggestion. Quote

Yes, this site is the most polite site I have ever seen. Of course all suggestions are welcome. These are usually used for emergencies for neimodians, so no time to make it comfortable. I would rather ride an uncomfortable spacecraft rather than being slaughtered by incoming forces. It has large seats though, so you could stretch your legs....unless someone is sitting on it. :-D Quote
Atlack Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 This kind of looks like Samus' starship from metroid Good Job! Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 Sorry, don't know about Metroid :-D I typed it in google images and it looks like a game, but I'll take it as a comment any *sweet* way Quote
Corvus Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I meant just for interstellar traveling. It has a big cockpit, so whoever is in it can have all their luxury items. Since Nemoidians have a famed level of paranoia, it does look rather armored, so it would suit them well. Quote

Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 I'll try to do what I can, but don't expect anything soon! :-) Quote
