Lady_Scarlett Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Hi everybody, my "name" is Lady Scarlett, I'm french but I live in California (and yes my english still not very good ) I'm sooooooo happy to have found you guys. I almost have never played with LEGO when I was little. I discover that quite late in my life. And because I'm really fond of Medieval History, I mostly buy LEGO around this theme. Unfortunately, two of my kids love LEGO too, so we are surrounded by bricks (and separators ). For this year, I would like to finish my medieval church and try to make a bridge with medieval houses... And buy some shelves to display all that. Quote
jluck Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Welcome! Medieval MOCs ae always loved round here, good to have you! Quote
Lady_Scarlett Posted January 3, 2015 Author Posted January 3, 2015 Thanks! Well I wouldn't say I'm really in MOC even if I really want it, because I try to do with the bricks I've had. And of course, it doesn't really work It's not a disaster but... Right now I try to figure out how to do my church without spending 300$ at the PaB Quote
Mazin Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Welcome to Eurbricks, good to have You with us, well its always nice to have a girl for a company What part of CA do You live in? Used to live in LA in the 90s, some of the best time of my life Quote
Lady_Scarlett Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 I'm living in LA, in Hollywood, couldn't make "more LA", lol. Quote
dr_spock Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Welcome to Eurobricks. I think there is LEGOLA user group in LA. Quote
Mazin Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I'm living in LA, in Hollywood, couldn't make "more LA", lol. Anywhere near Melrose or Fairfax Avenue? I used to go to Fairfax High there. And You're surely familiar with Beverly Hills Center then Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 We'll love to see your medieval church - welcome to Eurobricks! Quote
Lady_Scarlett Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Thanks Captain Braunsfeld! I'd like to see it too Mazin : one of my daughter is going to Fairfax High. And we're going to the Grove (but it didn't exist in the 90's), way more nicer than the Beverly Center Quote
Mazin Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Yeah, never hear of it before Looks... somewhat different. I'd love to go back there and visit both of these sites... while visiting LA as a whole of course Well, LA nad the area is fool of great places to go to. Still, i've heard a lot of people complain about how it has changed since 90s and 80s. That it's becoming more and more dirty, that there's no job opportunities and so and so... What's Your opinion? So is Your daughter attending Fairfax already or is she still in the Middle School and so is going to Fairfax after summer? Sorry, couldn't get that. Quote
