Clonie Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 I concur, Grievous. The names I posted from Legomilk's post really dissapoint me. Haven't they been already used?I think you guys may be confused.1) Darkness Falls, Grevious: Ravensdorn was being sarcatic with his witty names, hence the non-witty names. 2) hewkii9, those three you bolded are from a different set of canisters, they are the Toa Nuva being remade, which would explain the old names. Notice the numbers aren't next to eachother: 8685 Kopaka Nuva 8686 Lewa Nuva 8687 Pohatu Nuva 8688 ??? \ 8689 ??? } < These are probably the other three Nuva 8690 ??? / 8691 Antroz 8692 Vamprah 8693 Chirox 8694 ??? \ 8695 ??? } < Probably the other three bad guys, assuming the above three are bad 8697 ??? / 3) Grevious: Who's Ravensburg? :-P Quote
Shakar Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 The thing that interests me the most is...Toa Ignika. There was a topic over BZP that asked you to post what do you think a Toa of Life would look like. If you're interested, here's my post: More than a Toa of Life what I'd like to see (altough it's most likely not going to happen) is a sort of Titan created by the Ignika as its final guardian. What would be the difference between it and the other guardians of the Mask, you ask? This armour actually wears the mask, this is the Ignika itself that battles the Toa to test if they're worth of it or not. What it would look like:-about as tall as Roodaka -gold and clear, to show that it's just armour held together by energy -noble appearance, something similar to this, except the mask and the colours -wears the gold "horned" Ignika from VNOG -huge staff. Shakar Maybe I was wrong when I said "altough it's most likely not going to happen", don't you think?Shakar Quote
yovnocrats Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 you know....gregf has been saying that we'll see a mask of life in a set early next year....maybe the toa of life will be another 15 dollar titan like nocturn? Quote

And I do know the guy, and I know he's repetetive. X-D "Oh, frog-mutants blah blah blah..." :-P I'm not arguing or anything, I just didn't get what you said is all. Quote
Zarkan Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Uh oh, this topic's going the way of the Toyfair 2007 topic too! Let's try to get back on topic, okay? :-P Anyway, I'm wondering, where did you guys see the Toa Ignika set? I didn't see it when I saw the 2008 set lists. How much did they list it for? Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Chill. They're just toys :P Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 i still don't like bionicle, and too bad this is off topic :-P Quote
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 i still don't like bionicle, and too bad this is off topic :-P Look, we know. There's no need to go spamming topics just because your interest is gone. Why not run off to another EB forum and have fun there? Everybody would win that way. ;-) -Ikk Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 I was bored, so I shall leave the bionicle section alone permanently unless it shows in the view new posts section. It is not SPAMMING! Quote
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Well, I don't exactly see the point in repeating the same useless statement over and over, especially when it's not on topic. It's not like you're being forced to click the link to the toy you loathe so much every time it pops up in front of your eyes. We're free people. :-) Your effort here could even be of great use in other sections of EB! -Ikk Quote
Clonie Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hey, what did I say? I just asked DF a question. :-/ Quote

Shakar Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 The sets have been removed from that site. But I can assure you there was a Toa Ignika set in the list, if I remember correctly it was listed at 22.99 Euro. So it should be a Titan. Shakar Quote

Hm, so that means that the Ignika aparrently lives on another year, despite it's seemingly end in BL 7. I hope they make the version we saw in the Barraki music video. Now THAT would be cool. *sweet* Quote
Shakar Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Personally, my favourite form of the Ignika is the horned one from BH and VNOG. I really love that form. It's just too bad that this year they didn't manage to produce and include in one set the 2007 form. It would have made sense if it was included with Hydraxon, so kids would have been able to reproduce that scene I'm sure you know well. Or maybe with Gadunka, so you can make him grab it with his huge claws and make him roaring "My precious, RAWR!". So, the Mask will escape, then at the end of the year, using its new body, it will fight Makuta in a huge and creepy form. At the end the Toa defeat it and they use it to save Mata Nui. Makuta then flees away. Ok, now I'm dreaming. But Makuta is going to need a new shadowy form. With wings, a new Kraahkan and tentacles, to pay homage to his 2001 form. Now THAT would be cool. *sweet* Shakar Quote
Kowakian Monkey-Lizard Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Well, I think the names are better than the Barraki's, but still, they're, "Ack!". But yayshmor for the Toa Nuva, I'm so glad they're coming back. Now I'm really looking forward to 2008, I hope it's the best year yet. :-P KML Quote
Dino_Bot Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 (edited) Screw the Mahri! screw the Titans! Screw Gadunka!! Bring on Lesovikk and Karzahni!! Lesovikk looks really, really cool. Karzahni is just the type of apocalyptic villain we need. Besides, Lesovikk looks very Inika style. He's not like the Mahri (Which I think really stink and will never out-do the Inika or anything older for that matter) Edited August 1, 2007 by Dino_Bot Quote

And if you've actually gotten Jaller Mahri you'd see he's exactly what a Toa is supposed to be. Far superior to the Inika. Quote
dviddy Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 And if you've actually gotten Jaller Mahri you'd see he's exactly what a Toa is supposed to be. Toa are supposed to be hollow-McHollow? Quote
Dino_Bot Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Toa...Toa...Toa... Actually...a Toa is... :-D Then there's Toa Inika, Toa Nuva, Toa Hordika, Toa Hagah, Toa Mahri...Individuals like Lesovikk...Those are all Toa. But the Mahri are the ugliest ones IMHO. I'm not saying they're uncool, I mean...look at them, they have excellent individual articulation, and have lots of little features to them, but, they seem too cluttered, but their masks look sort of odd. Hahli is my favorite of the team. But Lesovikk is less cluttered (optional water sled thing, and one mere sword), and he looks like Hahli w/o the wings, and...well...he's green!!! When I say "screw the others" it means, "I'm not gonna spend money on these", and quite frankly, even though they may be excellent Toa, my personal desires include masks that don't look like seafood. And I haven't gotten over just how cool the Inika were. Are. I don't want to bag them and get new Toa to play with, unless their combiners are quite monstrously evil. I would say "who needs Mahri when you got Inika?" I'll be looking forward for Karzahni and Lesovikk. Oh, and I'll take the "odd" thing as a compliment. ;-) Quote
Clonie Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 (edited) Toa are supposed to be hollow-McHollow?Not really. But he's better than most other Toa sets. Can't see a single better Toa than him, frankly. But anyway, did anyone catch the number for the Toa Ignika set? Edited August 1, 2007 by Clonie Quote
SirNadroj Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Man, I never look foward to Bionicles. They really gotta cut the theme off now. The first, what, 6, were good, but it's getting RIDICULOUS! *sing* I can't stand it. Quote
