First LEGO League needs your votes!

Hi all!

I hope it's ok to make this post. The FLL team in Eindhoven is nominated for a prestigious city award. They have to compete with 4 very big and well known contestants who will generate loads of votes.

So, RISbotics, the underdog in this contest, needs your votes!

RISbotics Nominated for Eindhoven's Pride Award

I received word today from an FLL team called RISbotics that they've been nominated for the prestigious "Eindhoven's Pride" award.

Eindhoven is one of the major cities in the Netherlands, and a major centre of engineering, industrial design, sports, and technical universities.

Now that the team has been nominated, they compete with four other nominees for the most votes to become the winner of the award. This is no easy thing to get - the other nominees are big, well known associations. Last year's winner was a World famous soccer team (PSV).

So RISbotics is asking everyone to vote for them, which you can do by going to the voting website.

Select "RISBotics", enter your name and e-mail, and click "stem" (which is the Dutch word for vote).

They estimate that they need about 10,000 votes to win, so let's give them some support!

I can't blame you for not knowing about the award, since it's a local thing. :-D

The citizens of the town can send in nominations in certain categories. In the "technic" category, they have nominated RISrobotics, the FLL team of the international school in Eindhoven. They are in the top of the league, as far as I know.

The point is, that these guys are fellow Lego enthousiasts, and need all the votes they can get to win the contest.

I thought it would be fun to make it a global event, and help them with a lot of votes *sweet*

So, head over to the poll, click the radiobutton in front of "RISrobotics" and click the "stem" button. X-D
