bitbang Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Aside from building/collecting the obvious ... What do you do when you have free time, like days off work or days not spent with family and friends. I enjoy relaxing and watching movies. I also like to do DIY projects. I have made several people have loved, including a fish tank filter I built myself that works great. My brother helped with it and I get many compliments on my salt tank. It is a chore to clean but it is worth it! Quote
iamwhoiam Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I like to read and watch lots of movies and TV shows! Right now I'm watching Downton Abbey on Netflix! Quote

When you do have one, it is hard to part from them! A few of my good ones moved away so I have more free time by myself. Quote
Slurpifier Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Aside from part time employment and education, I try to spend my free time wisely. I enjoy building model planes and military vehicles, and I usually buy a few models every two or three weeks to give myself something to do when I'm bored. I've also been doing drawings of scaled sheds for my family's garden, which I find quite enjoyable. We need a new greenhouse and garden shed, and my brother asked if I could come up with a few ideas! Since examinations are coming up shortly, I'll have to cut out time from my other hobbies (photography, cycling, drawing, animation etc) to study, which I haven't started yet, which I probably should get around to doing! iamwhoiam Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I heard great things about that. How are you enjoying it? I was tempted to start it. It's a really great show, quiet but full of drama and time can travel very quickly. In the first two seasons we've went from 1912 to 1920! The episodes are usually longer than the usual 42 minutes so make sure you have a lot of time if you plan on binge-watching! I highly recommend it though! Quote

I have to re-up my netflix subscription but at least they do gift cards now. I hated paying monthly. Quote
