Coltherstone Castle Keep

Hi Everyone,

Here is the next section of my castle, the Keep. It is a large build and takes up pretty much the whole baseplate. I think that it looks better with the other sections around it but I haven't taken proper photos of that setup yet.

Now that I've got a keep I thought I should give the castle a name (to make it a proper castle and all). So, I've called it Coltherstone Castle.

Anyway, I've now completed 7 of the 12 castle sections. I'm also going to enter this one and the dock into CCC XII.

Funny thing is I have been working on a similarly shaped castle myself in the past few weeks (I still need to post it though), that's why I like this "cuboid" approach very much.

Windows (with and without glass) are also top!

Woah, this is looking great! Truly a stunning build, simple in some ways but elegant in its entirety. The vegetation and exterior details like the flags and colored accents are superbly done. And that interior... amazing! I looked on your Flickr page to check out the other modules, everything looks fantastic!

I am definitely waiting in anticipation for the completed build, this will be a huge crowd pleaser!

When can we expect to see more?

Have to do about 2 sections a month as I want to have it finished by April to display.

Currently waiting on a bricklink order before I start the next section.
