Athos Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Fire Extinguisher Wait until all the little kids start lighting fires so as to be able to play little fireman and put them out... Steve Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Haha... I'm not really sure what Lego was thinking with this one... *wacko* Quote
Hinckley Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Well well well well well! Looks like someone else thinks they can start an ice cube tray thread. Hmmmm....can you handle it punk? :-D :-D :-D Athos, I'll give you a hand by responding they way people did to the ice cube tray thread. Maybe we have another classic on our hands... Boo Steve. I have ten of these. They keep my children safe. What better way to teach kids about fire safety? Especially since LEGO are so combustible. :-P Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Lego+fire extinguisher= WTF!!! Of all the cheap marketing ploys... still, Like hinckley said, what a good way to teach fire safety...actually, now that I think of it, this would be a good tool for firefighters to use to teach little kids fire safety Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 What was lego thinking? :-D At least its not funtional, right? :-| Watch. Instead of giving an ice cube tray free, the kids will get a free set of official lego match sticks with every extingusher purchase! (a $00.50 value!) :-) Quote
ZeekyBoogeyDoog Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 WTF? Why make an extinguisher that is not even useful? I mean at least the ice cube tray could be used to make ice cubes. "Not for use on real fire." WHAT?? At least make a fire extinguisher that works on real fires, people! :-) Quote

EDIT: Oh crap, that was my 1000th post, I wanted to do something significant with it but I just made a joke... :'-( oh well, there's always my 2000th post. Quote
Starwars4J Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Are we sure either way if it works or not? If it does, at least it can be somewhat useful for AFOL (not really though...) If it doesn't it's just a safety hazard! Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Maybe it can spray water...or soda...or beer. Hey, that would be useful for an AFOL! :-D ;-) Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Maybe it can spray water...or soda...or beer. Hey, that would be useful for an AFOL! :-D ;-) That would actually kind of make sense if it was some kind of water gun... of course then Lego would get sued by some up set parent, saying that their kid got confused and sprayed someone with a real fire extinguisher. :-D Quote
Big Pete Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 That would actually kind of make sense if it was some kind of water gun... of course then Lego would get sued by some up set parent, saying that their kid got confused and sprayed someone with a real fire extinguisher. :-D it can spray water, as far as I remember ... it's an accessory for kids so they can play at being a fireman, along with the fireman hat / dressing up kit that Lego also sell. They do similar things for the Pirate Lines yadda yadda yadda. For kids, this is probs a good little addition! Quote
Hinckley Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Maybe it can spray water...or soda...or beer. Hey, that would be useful for an AFOL! :-D ;-) I'm almost sure it comes filled with beer :-D :-D :-D Quote
ZeekyBoogeyDoog Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Or Child Strength Flame Retardant ;-) Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 (edited) I'm almost sure it comes filled with beer :-D :-D :-D Of course it does! Otherwise nobody would buy it! :-D Extingush your thirst! Edited July 15, 2007 by SirNadroj Quote
