If I had to keep the Narrator for one single chracter, it'd be Kulta. He made him sound really menacing.

Seconded. And while I still don't like it, Ekimu's voice is starting to grow on me.

Kinda wish they had reduced the time for flashbacks and used it for a better fight with Skull Basher, though. It just felt rushed.

So much for Skull Basher. :P

Can't wait to see how this ends. How many episodes are left? Just one?

Yeah, just one. It really is a shame they had so little runtime to work with for these, but they did a pretty fantastic job with the resources they had, and given the Netflix name drop in the 2016 catalog it is looking a lot like things are only going to get better here on in.

Good lord I love Ekimu. You can see he's wise, but he's not the generic wise village elder. I love him, feels fresh for a change.

Makuta too. He might be evil, yes, but when you think of it it's not really completely his fault. He made the MoUP because he was jealous of Ekimu being praised more than him. I mean, of COURSE Ekimu would do better masks with a Mask of Creation. The whole storyline wouldn't have happened if the villagers thought better of Makuta's masks (or if Makuta didn't get jealous for starters). Maybe Makuta will get redeemed at the end and the MoUP will be the main villain? The MoUP seems to have sentience after all.

Compare that to G1 Teridax, where everything he did was to get more power and control. He might have been a good bad guy but everything he did was for being evil I felt.

Or maybe I'm overthinking everything.

Still, headcanon I suppose.

We are getting an episode 18? What a twist!

Good stuff, anyway. I'm wondering if there will be a teaser at the end of the ep18.

So I think this is a very good sign that we will, indeed, be getting a teaser for 2016. I'm almost certain that official pics of 2016 sets will be unveiled at the conclusion of the animations!!!! Two more weeks!

I'd like to see Makuta get redeemed at the end of the story. I also kind of want to see Makuta retain some of his chessmaster status from G1 and have this whole situation with the MouP just be Makuta's way of teaching the Toa valuable skills.

...

Yes, I am implying that I want the entirety of G2 to turn out to be Makuta trolling absolutely everyone, including the MouP.

"Are you serious? Your betrayal threw the villages of Okoto into chaos. People died."

"Yes, but everyone involved learned a valuable lesson!"

"Except, you know, the ones who died."

"I suppose. Pity, that."

Though if we're going to do that, Ekimu needs a thick Scottish burr and a question-mark-hammer.

"My favorite part was when Lewa was possessed by a Skull Spider, and Onua had to appeal to his suppressed will! What was yours?"

I loved this episode. I think they finally got Ekimu's voice right--- it was terrible in Episode 15, and got a bit better in Episode 16. I'm disappointed that Basher was defeated so easily, but aside from that, the fight scene was actually very good in terms of atmosphere and execution.

I just realized something. While there's no reason for Okoto to start crumbling when Makuta put on a mask that just has the power of all six elements, he also took off the Mask of Control at that point. Maybe the combination of the MoUP's activation and the deactivation of the MoC awoke something beneath the island?

...

Ok, I know they wouldn't do something like that, especially considering how similar it is to G1's plot engine, but the logical disconnect between the MoUP's powers and the effect of putting it on really bothers me.

I thought that was just the MoUP's power flowing out of control because it was too powerful for Makuta. Didn't they say so in the animations?

Also, on the Trolling/Redeemed Makuta: I wouldn't like exactly that, but it reminded of the feel I had when watching Mask of Light where Makuta seemed to believe that, in some twisted way, he was helping Mata Nui. I never played MNOG, but from what I can see on the last level's walkthrough he also had that vibe (which, considering in early production Makuta was suposed to be Mata Nui's virus or cancer, kinda makes sense for the character). And that's a Makuta I'd like to see.

I think there will be an episode 19 a couple of weeks from now. This next episode this week will show

the Toa being defeated by Kulta and having their masks broken. That's when they'll all gang up and try to take Kulta down without their masks. Ekimu will appear out of nowhere and defeat Kulta while the Toa faint. I think episode 19 will then have the toa waking up with new masks and Ekimu telling them that a new adventure is coming. This would be a great opportunity for LEGO to unveil officially the 2016 sets (on the website..or what have you).

So it's not a question of when we'll get it, but if? That's kinda ridiculous.

And to think, I was gonna order a second copy of MMvSG from Lego in order to obtain it. But now, I guess my money will be going towards some eBay seller instead.
