Well I see tech difficulties are no excuse for lack of posting after two fluffy in character posts. As for my defense, I told the truth about my delays in posting. As for pointing out low post counts, I was merely stating that others besides me had offered very little as well. I only posted two fluffy posts so I don't see what everyone is getting at here.

As for offering new information, there is none. It's Day one, there is nothing but finger pointing to go on.

I will stand by on my suspicions on Rep Laughlin, who was the first to vote for Rep Nottingham and hasn't said anything else since. Yes we need a lynch day one so I will change my vote if needed. Day two will give us more to go on.

So it's Carol (6 votes) or Tremain (5 votes) right now? Gotta have a lynch, so...

Unvote: Jacob Palacios (JackJonespaw)

Vote: Carol Nottingham (Calanon)

If I need to change to Tremain to get a lynch I will do so. I don't care one way or the other. Still haven't seen any response to my poke though....

Vote Count

Carol Nottingham (Calanon) - 8 (Brickeloden, Speedy, TPRU, jluck, Piratedave, Walter Kovacs, Stickfig, Lego Spy)

Addie Tremain (adventurer1) - 5 (Bob, Goliath, badboytje88, mostlytechnic, Scaevola)

Molly Callaghan (Mencot) - 1 (Adam)

Bryant Laughlin (Brickelodeon) - 1 (adventurer1)

4 hours remain. With 18, it takes 10 to lynch.

I do believe there should be a lynching but there are still 3 people who haven't voted yet. I could change my vote because I do respect the fact that Addie has made better defenses than Carol has. I'm not sure what timezone she's in though so there's that to consider as well. Nonetheless, I still trust neither one.

Why on earth didn't you change your vote? There's not much time left.... and as of now your vote is a waste. Are you and Nottingham BOTH scum and trying for a non-lynch here? Cause I see you wasting your vote and she hasn't voted at all today.

Alright, well... I'm sorry Carol.

Care to say ANYTHING at all to support your vote? Or just blatant bandwagoning?

At this point, I don't like either Tremain or Nottingham. But given the late hour, we need a lynch so I will switch my vote to push in that direction.

Unvote: Addie Tremain (adventurer1)

Vote: Carol Nottingham (Calanon)

Now just 1 more is necessary.

It was tied; your switch made it 6:4. So I think we need a better explanation than just "she is the best candidate here" - got a REASON you voted Nottingham over Tremain? There's still 5 hours and lots of votes to be placed (assuming all the other members can get off their lazy bums and get in here and do their jobs! Lazy scoundrels. Oughta lose your position here for not voting I say!)

At the time I started to change my vote, Maurice had not voted, so I had the count at 5-4 Carol over Addie (I know the timing looks like there is quite a discrepancy, but these old arthritic thumbs just don't type that fast on these new-fangled devices). So I thought i was making it 6-3, not 6-4.

At this point, it's 9 votes for Carol, 4 for Addie. A Day 1 lynch of a Loyal will do more than a non-lynch, so I think I will keep my vote as it is. There's a chance my instincts are wrong, and Carol is an Octan.

* I want to clarify that last line. A Day 1 lynch of a loyal will give us more information (based on voting patterns) than a non-lynch. I hope I was clear the first time, but I think everyone gets my meaning now.

Of course, a scum lynch is the best result of all. Only time will tell that.

Still haven't seen any response to my poke though....

Apologies, apologies, the drink and lack of sleep caused me to pass out in this comfy corner over here for quite some time...

I said something like this early on - I didn't want to vote for a scum in the nominations, and now I don't want to be deciding vote. There's a possibility that Carol could be scum, yes, but also a possibility that she could be Loyal...and being the deciding vote on a Loyal's lynching...it's a terribly suspicious position to be in.

What would be a more terrible suspicious position to be in would be the one to avoid a lynch by not being the deciding vote. Unless you genuinely believe we will benefit from a no lynch, your just being a road block. If you didn't wanna be the deciding vote, you shoulda done something earlier. It's time to make tough decisions...

The day is almost over and nothing has come of my :poke: vote. Molly (Mencot), you're still pinging me, and I'll be on your case again when the sun rises over New Brickland once again. In the meantime, it's important that we impeach someone by the end of the day, and holding on to a :poke: vote isn't very useful to the town.

With that in mind, I'll unvote: Molly Callaghan (Mencot).

Nobody likes being the deciding vote, but someone has to be the nail in the coffin, so I guess it's going to be me. Between Addie (adventurer1) and Carol (Calonon), the latter is the one more likely to yield a lynch, and she's also the one who bothered me more between the two. Addie (adventurer1) may not have been very helpful today, and that may mean she's trying to fly under the radar, but I was seriously pinged when Carol (Calanon) claimed that we should "go with Siegfried (Speedy) being a Loyal Representative."

Vote: Carol Nottingham (Calanon)

That's a very good point. He blatantly admitted to the fact that he wasn't ensuring a lynch because he didn't want to look suspicious in the event that Carol (Calanon) turns up town. That's either frustratingly unhelpful, scummy, or both.

With 10 votes, Carol Nottingham (Calanon) has been impeached

A crowd gathers around the handcuffed Representative Nottingham, pointing fingers and jeering. Poor Jacob isn't really sure what's going on.

Speaker Dixon brings the gavel down hard on the counter. "A resolution to impeach Representative Carol Nottingham from Crystal Canyon has passed in a vote of 10 to 8. Security, escort her out!"

"Please, my friends..." Carol begins.

"Alright, Representative, it's time to go." the security guard cuts her off.

"Can't I at least have a few more pills?" she asks as the guard leads her out.

Siegfried bangs the gavel down a few more times to silence the cheering crowd.

Get those night actions in - you have 24 hours!
