aminnich Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Hey guys, I am wondering which would be lighter. If I made a cab for a semi truck out of Technic or Lego pieces, which would be lighter. The Lego model would not be as detailed at 2Legoornot2lego's trucks, but still have some detail. and the technic cab would be the size of the 9397 logging truck (basically the same but with some detail modifications). If anyone can help, that would be great. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 That really depends on how you build it, but I'd say that, in general, a Technic cab would be lighter, simply because it would not need as much additional support. Quote
Rishab N Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Technic is usually lighter as bricks are heavier than beams Quote
aminnich Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 even tho you only need the brick for the lego cab, while for the technic cab you need the technic beam plus the pins? but what ur saying makes sense just wanted to double check. Quote
dr_spock Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 You can use technic panels which is lighter than a wall of bricks. Also you can make it technic airy style with flex axles, Quote
