Looking for a display name Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) i don't know if someone mentioned it yet but an impulse set is like the sweets at the checkout counter at a shopping center y'know? :-$ can't think of any other way to describe it. -oobie Edited September 28, 2007 by oobie scoob doobi noob banobie Quote

Two reasons: 1. Those are packaged in polybags, Impulse is packed in boxes 2. Those aren't packaged or labeled as Impulse , Impulse sets are (obviously:-P) -Chuck Quote

Scouty Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 1. Those are packaged in polybags, Impulse is packed in boxes Not quite either my emotionless friend...( :-P ). You'll sometimes see boxed promos or sets at counters. They'll sometimes be in tall card-board displays or what have you. So, not just polybags. Quote
Christian Posted November 3, 2007 Author Posted November 3, 2007 hi all, there might be more indiana jones sets 7625 river chase cost will be approx. 25.99 euro 7626 jungle cutter 45.99 euro 7627 temple of Akator 89.99 euro no photos yet, release will be in may I know its a bit old topic but I just did some reserach on this "jungle cutter", because I thought that it was strange that there would be 2 sets to have some kind of releation to water og rivers. And this is what I found. The picture is taken from the filming of the latest movie and is actually pretty old. Quote
Vader Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Hmmm would be cool to get those 2 vehicles in lego form, they would be very useful for other mocs etc. Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Tks Christian for the pic ;-) I guess that the right vehicle could really be the 7626 jungle cutter 8- Quote
Christian Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 Upon a little more reserach I stumpled upon the name of the last Indiana Jones set: . . . . . 7624 Jungle Duel $9,99 What an interesting and creative name :-| Set names and prices from Amazon.com: 7624 Jungle Duel $9,99 7625 River Chase $19,99 7626 Jungle Cutter $39,99 7627 Temple of the Crystal Skull $79,99 Quote
casewindu Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Wow that jungle cutter looks great though it looks more like a james bond sort of vehicle doesn't it? I hope we get more pics soon thanks christian for those great finds! ;-) Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Another great find Christian, I might pick up the smaller set! (If it is any good.! :-D ) ;-) Quote
Derek Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 If they did make that vehicle with blades, they would probably use the new blade mold from the new Exo force mech! TLC is sneaky like that! Because we got this new piece in JUST one set, I think its safe to say that we will see that "Jungle Cutter" or what ever in Lego Form! Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Good point. I like the exo-force saw pieces, I have many evil intentions for them.... >:-) Quote
