WIP - Erebor Dwarf Statues

I am working on my version of the Erebor.

For starters I can share with you the two statues at the main entrance. They will look like this:

Very nice statues indeed and they can be used even in other "fantasy themes" (I played a lot of Dragon Age in the past and those statues would be perfect in that context too )

Talking about Erebor: is the "official" Lonely Mountain set a good start for a MOC or would it better to create everything from scratch?

That set always makes me a bit curious

It almost seems that the dwarves are looking to the left/right side...

The statues seem significantly large in comparison with a minifig - so it is perfect dwarven style!

Could you maybe post some more pictures of these? I really like them and I'd like to replicate them but I'm finding it quite hard atm
