This used to be my preferred site (and still is) when I started years ago. Lately however, the site has not been updated though it still offers valuable information. Anyone knows what's the deal? Owner no longer interested or too busy? Too much competition? I'd hate to see it 'disappear'.

The only acceptable follow-up question is of course 'And what's the deal with airline food anyway?'. You keep hearing about how Peeron is a great resource... and it's not, because I can't find a good portion of the sets I have! It may have been in the past though.

Well ... for those of us who are not 'spring chicken' ... Peeron was THE ultimate resource before commercial sites took over (e.g. BrickLink). Gotta reckon Peeron offers some valuable information that is not on other sites (You'd only know if you've used it). Many of us have also uploaded our personal collections there and 'identify' with it. You may think it's not a good site, and that is fair ... it's all about opinions and personal experience (or the lack thereof).

I used Peeron as a single information source when I came back from my dark ages, but over time I switched almost completely to Bricklink, the main reason being that updates became virtually non-existent. Though I agree that in some aspects it is still far superior than other sites.

Thank you.

I've tried submitting instruction scans that they didn't have (some older and a few newer) and they never updated. I wonder if the owner just quit updating manual features such as new building manual or part lists?

For me, a person who missed online Lego world due to long dark ages and got no sentiment to any site I think peeron got terrible design and interface.

Atm I am using bricklink (for buying), Rebricable (for my sets/my parts) and sometimes Brickset.

I find sad that updates on Peeron stopped.

I liked how you could easily see which brick you had and from which set when you checked a particular part, kind of cross linking between Bricklink's inventory and Brickset's owned sets.

Rebrickable can do that too, but I find it less practical.
