Shakar Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Karzahni, too. Actually, I did point out the link to the BZP topic in the Bionicle 2007 toyline topic. Maybe we should continue there. Shakar Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I fail to be impressed. The biggest thing I like about this gallery is that it proves several of my points. Lets go through them, shall we? First off, everyone said that Karzahnitoran was blue. Well, lookie here, boys: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/WildEep/.../karzahni03.jpg BLACK. How do you feel about another black Great Ruru? We had one on Whenua, then Garan, then Umbra, and now this guy. Secondly, just as I said, ITS A TRAP! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/WildEep/.../karzahni10.jpg Thirdly, three cheers for the fewer-parts blade-collection Ussanui clone: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/WildEep/.../lesovikk04.jpg Fourth: The only use I see this set being to people who plan on following the 2007 storyline is to replace Lesovikks head with Kongu's so as to make a real Toa of Air. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/WildEep/.../lesovikk11.jpg Fifth: Awesome http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/WildEep/...7/maxilos06.jpg Sixth: We needed this set as the Makuta in 2003. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/WildEep/...7/maxilos02.jpg Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Fourth: The only use I see this set being to people who plan on following the 2007 storyline is to replace Lesovikks head with Kongu's so as to make a real Toa of Air.http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/WildEep/.../lesovikk11.jpg It's so hard to look at that & not think it was 100% intentional. You see Kongu and are like, "What the HELL did they do to him?" followed soon by, "Oh wait, if I get THIS set, he can be fixed". Quote
Shakar Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Actually, I think that the best thing to do is simply building Lesovikk and pretending that he's Kongu. For those who like Kongu Mahri but dislike the fact that he has no personal weapon....what about stealing the blades from Hewkii Mahri's shoulders and giving them to the Toa of Air? Regarding Idris....she's BLUE. The camera makes her look like black. Look at all the other picture of the Karzahni set. Shakar Quote
Shine Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Secondly, just as I said, ITS A TRAP!Whoops. X-D Anywho- Gadunka looks even more horrible, now that I can see his back. Hydraxon is still $5.00 over-priced and "Y" Piraka feet never work as torso armor on something that size. Maxy's still got strange gaps and a color-scheme that needs to die. Maxy's pet is the only good 07 summer set when you aren't taking MOCing pieces into account. Love the sleek curved look, though I can't see why they needed bley... The red Karzmatoran annoys me, why couldn't they leave him out of the set and know $5.00 off the price? Blue Ruru ftw. Trap is blah, though it is good to have at least one function. Karz...horrid, absolutely horrid. Kongu er, Lessovik needs better armor, shorter arms, and smaller feet. Bike needs to lose the red and silver. Quote
Corvus Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I really like the bike. It's small and perfectly suited to someone who wants to get somewhere fast. Also, I think that his mask looks more suited to a toa of air. Kongu's... doesn't. I'm not quite sure how to explain it. My only gripe about him is that he needs shorter arms and a better weapon, but part of that is that the picture always shows his sword in an odd postition. Quote
optimus-convoy Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Lesovikk himself ain't lookin so hot to me, his vehicle though I might steal for the Inika or Mahri. Makuta Maxilos looks pretty good, though I wonder how a kraahkan would look on him. Everything else, meh... Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 These are nice pics. I like them all... cept Gudunka. -ZotS Quote
Wobo Ihi Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I loathed the canister sets this year. But some of those titans aren't that bad. Ok, so Gadunka (or whatever his name is) is horrible, but Makuta's new look is pretty neat. And they still need to make a white titan. Quote
dillthepill Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I like Lessovik and Karhzani, which is kinda saying something since I don't like Bionicle anymore. Hydraxxon, Maxilos, and Gadunka= BLECH. Quote
Kahgarak Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Whoops. X-D Ha, told you so from the beginning!Ha! >:-) :-P Just kiddin'. Quote
dofine Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 i am the only one how like gadunka, i dont know about the toa marhi, they are verry skinny, but i like karzahni to. Quote
Murtagh Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 The matoran is blue. I've seen it for myself. When you see the mahri for yourself, or have thm yourself, they don't look skinny at all. And the build of all the mahi and especially gadunka is very entrtaining. X-D Kongus build is the most apart from any canister ive seen since the bohrok. Oh, and dillthepill, Gadunka is awesome. If you get bored of him when your done with him, you can line the mahri up and do some bowling, Gadunka being the bowling ball. Quote
Axle Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 i am the only one how like gadunka, i dont know about the toa marhi, they are verry skinny, but i like karzahni to. I quite Like Gadunka too, I never new he was coming out! Quote
Dino_Bot Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 I'm loving Lesovikk. The others aren't so hot. Lesovikk and Nocturn truly are the best this year. I may not like the Mahri, but...Lesovikk I need. Quote
InnerRayg Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Lesovikk himself ain't lookin so hot to me, his vehicle though I might steal for the Inika or Mahri.Makuta Maxilos looks pretty good, though I wonder how a kraahkan would look on him. Everything else, meh... He actually looks pretty cool, but the Black Kraahkan doesn't work as well with the color scheme as his mask/face does now. If there were a red version of the Mask of Shadows though.... I love Lesovikk's Lime mask, but I really don't understand the attraction everyone seems to have to him. Seems odd to hate the Mahri and then take to a green, stripped down version of Hahli. Quote
Clonie Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 ... with even more green Metru legs, crappy torso armor and a crappy bike. Quote

Seems odd to hate the Mahri and then take to a green, stripped down version of Hahli. Personally, these are the things I did to Maxilos:-Removed the leg pistons (I do that to all the Titans sets- I have lots of new style ball joints *sweet*) -Modified the upper legs a bit -Modified the staff -Removed the shoulder mounted Cordak blaster -Attached a Kodan claw to the Hordika chestplate on the back, as an homage to 2003 Makuta -Removed the tube -Replaced the head and the "mask" with this (except with Kopaka's ice blue eyes). Thanks TOM for the awesome idea! Sadly right now I don't have access to the camera..but I can tell you that he's everything that 2003 Makuta should have been. This guy is my new Makuta. Come on, who needs a robot guard when you can have a fully poseable Master of Shadows? Shakar Quote
Zarkan Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 ... with even more green Metru legs, crappy torso armor and a crappy bike. What's wrong with his armor? And trust me, the bike's a lot more complicated that it looks in those pictures. I thought it was mediocre too... until I looked at the instructions on Lego.com. ;-) Hey, once you get access to a camera, I'd love to see your new Makuta, Shakar! *sweet* Quote
