Mr Meleca Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Hello I am visiting USA during holidays and my daughter loves friends. I believe USA is the only country selling the Fusion sets. With 263 pieces, the RRP is $34.99. It is quite expensive for a friend´s set, but I want to know if the App really adds more fun and if we can add the previous sets. Can you help me with this question? Quote
brickbuilder711 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) I think any digital LEGO takes away the fun from real LEGO. I never got a Fusion set and do not plan to. Your daughter might have a different opinion on this so that's just my opinion and it's perfectly fine if she prefers the digital. However, it does have several really nice parts, per Brickset. There may be some backwards compatibility with previous sets but the foot print is likely limited and so would be the palette. With that money you can get something more practical like the beach house (41037 I think) for $39.99 USD (step up but WORTH IT!) and the Juice Bar (41035) for $30 USD. High play value in both and otherwise beautiful sets. The part versatility in 21208 doesn't speak much for, say having a building with many minifig/minidoll friendly accessories and details as opposed to the two I mentioned.
