So Obi Wan wins an uneventful match.

Now this next match I nearly redrew. I know thats unethical but I suspect many of that take part in these championships with suspect me of fixing some of the matches. I mean R2-D2 vs GONK for *yoda* 's sake! Against anyone else and they'd both have been wiped out. But now we have R2 in the next round!!!

I swear to you on *yoda* 's life that these matches are randomly drawn.

All this said, this match could be bloody excellent. I'd certainly like to see it in reality.

This next match takes place in Echo Base, Hoth. Featuring first from the most recent system-scale Millennium Falcon, its the Wookiee Chewbacca. And his opponent, from the Wookiee Attack set, its the Wookiee Warrior.

This is a hard choice like the Scout trooper vs stormtrooper or R2 vs a gonk droid

I'll have to say chewbacca wins cause he is cooler and probably a better warrior

Chewie and the wookie warrior square off. They are the same strength, same size, and same skill. Yet Chewie wins in under ten seconds, ripping the other wookies head off using only one hand. Why? Because Chewie has a name. In a match of a named character vs a un-named character the named one will win 90% of the time. It is just one of the laws of nature that cannot be explained.

Yep, its an epic battle. Both charge and meet chest to chest, angaging in pointless bear-hugging. The Warrior, being bigger initially powers Chewie, who hits the deck hard on his back (Wookiees don't learn breakfalling).

Warrior rears up, Chewie rakes his claws across the Warrior's abdomen. As the Warrior grasps his bleeding belly, Chewie rakes his face, then grabs the back of his head. Pulling him down, he bites the warrior on the neck, then bridges powerfully. Warrior flies over the top, losing a hige lump of flesh and fur to Chewie's teeth.

Chewie's up and moving in the kill. They exchange almighty arm strikes. Although the Warrior is stronger, he's hurt, moreso when Chewie wallops him in the belly, from where he's still bleeding. As the Warrior doubles up, Chewie lifts him in a lateral press and SLAMs him to the ground.

The Warrior tries to stand, but Chewie interliks his fingers, making a double hammerfist and delvers the coup de grace, getting the KO and the win.

So Chewie wins a bloody and hard-fought match. Nearly at the end of round 1 now and looking at who's left we're guaranteed some exciting matches this week.

The next match takes place on Tattooine. Featuring first fresh from meeting Old Ben Kenobi and finding the charred remains of the aunt and uncle, its Luke Skywalker (Mos Eisley Cantina). And his opponent, now think about this is R4-P17 from the Jedi Starfighter. That is, the Delta-7 Aethersprite.

Round 1, match 28. Luke Skywalker (Mos Eisley Cantina) vs. R4-P17 (Jedi Starfighter)

I do believe this match could go both ways easily, however for the sake of closer matches later on I'll say farm boy goes through.

Example 1: Luke ingites his lightsaber, but as he's a novice he doesn't notice he's holding it upside-down, so it goes through his leg. R4 grabs the saber with one of his claws and stabs Luke while he is writhing on the ground.

Example 2: Luke chops R4's head off. The end.

So yeah, could go both ways but I'd have to say Luke.

"But I wanted to go to Tashii Station to pick up some power converters" whines Luke as he leaves Obi Wan to deal with the problems of the world. He jumps into his landspeeder... and it proceeds to explode. R4-P17 hiding behind some junk whistles and the viewer is left to assume he sabataged it for unknown reasons.
