Kynok Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I thought I'd make a new topic, with a more broad title. We can discuss anything related to the BIONICLE toyline of 2007. Nothing more, nothing less. Lets all relax and enjoy the thing of which we are all here for: BIONICLE. Let me remind you it is JUST a toyline, and nothing to get upset about. :) Lets stay on topic, fellas. And PLEASE try to get along. *y* *** I've been looking around everywhere to find the new summer sets. I can't wait to get my hands of Maxilos and Spinax. Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) I will be getting Nocturn shortly; I'll let you lot know what I think of 'im after I get 'im. He certainly looks to be one of the better, if not best, set of 2007. Maxilos might top 'im, but I like his size and simplicity :) Anyone notice how the last topic had 666 replies? >:-) Edited July 10, 2007 by Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Quote
Kynok Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 Nocturn is pretty good. I got 'em a while back. I love his price! It a great deal for your money. Then Karzahni comes along. You spend the money you saved on Nocturn on him plus some. Rumor has it is a whopping $40! Is it worth it? Quote
Clonie Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Anyone notice how the last topic had 666 replies? >:-)It's just a coincidence... I think... 8-| Well anyway, I heard Karzahni was seen for 60 Pounds... :-( hopefully a pricing error. Quote
Shakar Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 I received M&S and Hahli yesterday from Shop at Home. They're standing next to me right now. Maxilos is probably the biggest Titan ever, not only because he's very tall (about as tall as Brutaka and Roodaka), but also because his shoulders are very wide, giving him a nice muscular look. Spinax is a lot better than I thought: I used to see him as a simple add on for Maxilos, but he really looks like a separate set! Like my mum said, he looks like a sort of undead beast. Hahli really has to be the best Toa of Water ever, with her wings, her talons (I attached the piece to two 12 plus rods, turning it into a neat trident) and her sweet mask. Overall, great sets. Take a look at this. Shakar Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Is this a bad time to mention that I got Nocturn half off? ^_^ Quote
Clonie Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Is this a bad time to mention that I got Nocturn half off? ^_^How much was he, five dollars? X-D Quote
Kynok Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 Nocturn half off already, eh? I'm not suprised. Last time I was at Wal Mart there were loads and loads of them. They didn't seem to be selling. Looks like your Wal Mart is trying to get rid of all their old sets to make room for the new. Lucky you |-/ . Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Actually, I got it half off from Shop @ Home, along with a half-off Axonn and Brutaka. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) I've been looking around everywhere to find the new summer sets. I can't wait to get my hands of Maxilos and Spinax. Only one store here sells Lego... Walmart. I kid you not, their set variety is IDENTICAL to the day the Barraki came out. Same Spongebob, same Star Wars, same Bionicle. I've been going back for months just to find nothing new. No Exo-Force sets are around, either! I could just get Nocturn at shop@home, but something tells me he'll just appear one day from the depths of their stockroom and into a shooping cart outside for a sidewalk sale... at a ridiculous discount. (That's how it aaaalways goes. Every year I've been here, since 2002). :-| Anyone notice how the last topic had 666 replies? I made a closing post and noticed it was 667. So, in the name of humor, deleted it, merely editing my post into #666's. :-D Edited July 10, 2007 by JINZONINGEN 73 Quote
