Slegengr Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Nice build, vitreolum! I like that house, especially the color scheme, the stones on bottom, the fence, the windows, the door, the doorknob! The tree, path, bridge, and water look nice as well. Must be a rainy season where the water is running high . I think it might look better if there was some sort of curb/retaining wall to prevent the water and path from being on the same level. Keep on with the excellent MOCs, vitreolum! Quote
Mestari Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 So much nice techniques! I really like the result you got :) Quote
Steph 104th Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Great creation, the roof is wonderful and the colour scheme is perfect, the palm tree is also very nice. Quote
vitreolum Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 Thanks! @Slegengr I agree about the water level, but I wanted to avoid a tall border at all costs here. so I had to make a compromise. Quote
MAB Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Nice build. Is the front of the building meant to be religious? I see a cross, but not sure if that is intentional. Now all you need is Cragger with a bucket grabbing some of that chi :-) Quote
Alfadas Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Very nice! The details are amazing! That tree is also amazing! Quote
vitreolum Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 @MAB No, just a coincidence, initially I added just the middle beam but it looked too bare and I've added the sides afterwards. Maybe one of the Cardinal's hideouts? :)) Quote
Balbo Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Wow, that's a great MOC - fantastic work I love all the details like the house, the tree,... The colour scheme and techniques are awesome, too! Quote
MassEditor Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Stunning build as always Vitreolum! Wonderful work on the building's stone foundation. The timbering and roof are excellently done, as well. The palm tree is one of the best I've ever seen. Your builds are truly inspirational... Nice job with the Tricolor too! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What a great MOC - the man is extremely productive these days. You really love those robot arms, right? Nice scene, nice building. I also like your approach for the windows. Well done! Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 That fence technique is really great, and I'm liking the tree a lot as well! The door texture caught my attention too, Quote
Dzoni90 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Perfect MOC as always. Like the roof and fence the most. I am not sure if that flag was used in the age of Musketeers, but it doesn't matter so much. Quote
vitreolum Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Thanks! @Dzoni90 Haha, yeah, didn't cross my mind about the flag. Eh, it's only 2-300 years too early. :)) Quote
Garmadon Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Awesome build Vitreolum, the house is excellent, great texture on the first story stone-work and on the roof The door handle, fence and tree are very nice as well, great job Quote
Balthazar Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) Nice and beautiful moc! Cool fence and tree. Edited December 9, 2014 by Balthazar Quote
Ayrlego Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Very nice, I love the dark green scheme on the building and the way you built the windows. The red bird on the roof is a nice touch as well! Are they robot/skeleton arms inbetween the house and palm tree? Quote
Fletcher Floyd Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Great Moc with some very nice details! The Tree is my favourite Part but I also love the flag. You did a great job here! Quote
Adolfo Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Very nice MOC! It's hard to pick only one detail as the best because we can see many of them. I particular liked the fence. Congrats! Quote
