xwingyoda Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Reading the review of the new walking Dino, I was wondering about the price of the AT-AT Sure its an expensive licence, but the dino is 90 Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 After seeing the head, I have to say it's the best part of it. It is much more sturdy and is roomy also, and there is more grey and less blue+red. I still won't be getting it unless it's dirt cheap somewhere. Quote
mutley777 Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Just got back from celebration europe and have some VERY large pics of the new at-at. Still not really blown away by this set, it is a shame that they did not have it moving *wacko* as this would probably clinch it for most people. I hope to have a movie of the set on you-tube later. Any way here are the links to the large pics. pic1 pic2 pic3 Quote

Wout Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 (edited) Regarding that Veers discussion, TLC could do the same as what they did with *cough - Wedge - cough*, meaning replacing that printed head with a regular smiley head :-D :-P *yoda* Maybe a old fleshy face of Draco or Lucius Malfoy from Harry P. They also look a bit of this ( >:-( ) That would maybe a good face . :-) Edited July 14, 2007 by Wout Quote

And lastly for anyone who hasnt seen the UCS falcon face to face; my god it really is massive and easily worth the pricetag, the only problem is in a two bedroom flat where will i put it? |-/ Quote

Two-Faced Batman Fan Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Could someone post the pics on a different website? Brickshelf is down so I haven't seen any of the pictures. Quote
CopMike Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Thanks for the link sam *y*. This is quite funny though: It says "Walking AT-ST" - It does however say "Number of bricks: 1137" compared to the old 4483 Quote

CopMike Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 On the other hand, since it has a substantial amount of technic pieces many of those extras will be pins...Sure thing that Quote
daoudbazaar Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Could someone post the pics on a different website? Brickshelf is down so I haven't seen any of the pictures. -> You would find one on 1000steine.com Quote
sam89 Posted July 15, 2007 Author Posted July 15, 2007 And here's the other pic: I've added this to the front page now, as well as the first post of this thread. Quote

captaintau Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 It looks as though Luke could be winched in, though I suspect this would have advertised more. Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I sam beginning to think Mark Hamill is secretly corrupting Lego people and trying to get as many lukes as he can into lego sets. What an evil thought! 8- Quote

Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 It was a relief it was nicholson who played that part, Mark Hamill, stay with STAR WARS! Quote
Scouty Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Well, Luke is the hero, they have to make the heros! So, if you have so many Lukes? Some people don Quote
Grand Moff Viceroy Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 All sets should not have Lukes, than you should be able to buy the minifig individually. Quote
xwingyoda Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Since TLC always tend to release iconic ships, they have to have iconic mfs, especially characters !! We are bound to have a huge number of R2, Luke, Bobas, Vaders and so on, its only normal !! Lets nt forget that a lot of people and TFOL do not have as many characters as we have + I am sure there are some new AFOLS getting out of their dark ages who want those iconic figs ;-) Back on the AT-AT itself: it seems to have a huge numbers of blue technic pins and parts !! Why oh why >:-( I really do NOT want my legs to show some blue dots !! Great I will need to mod it even more than I intended to |-/ *yoda* Quote
