Tanotrooper Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 (edited) Hi all, this is a bignette, the scenery itself is awful, but its about the figures. No muskets, rifles or arquebusses here because most of the conquistadors troops still used medieval weapons like crossbows because they were more reliable at the time than fire/gunpowder weapons. Comments are welcome as always Gaetano TT (Phredit: links changed to thumblinks) Edited July 8, 2007 by phred Quote
Fordo Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Nice figures, what set is that shield design from looks great? Quote
Norrington Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Awful? This Bignette is very nice! I very much like the conquistadore figures. BTW, where did you get that marvelous sheild design for the conquistadores? Quote
jamtf Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I just checked it out and it appears that the shield design was part of a sticker sheet belonging to a Technic set called Extreme Power Bike. Quote
Norrington Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Perhaps I'll try to recreate one in my decal making software. Quote
Tanotrooper Posted July 8, 2007 Author Posted July 8, 2007 (edited) well what you now, it is a sticker, it looked like it was printed :D I based myself on this nice pic: TT Edited July 8, 2007 by Tanotrooper Quote
zouave Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Cool! X-O I've always wanted to see a spanish conquistadores vs. Aztecs moc. Quote
Capn Frank Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Very creative vig TT *y* I added it to the Index of Land based MOCs Index. P Quote
ZCerberus Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Very nice. Though the guy with the fleshy Star Wars face is kinda weird!! I like the piece as used for a shield, it works very well! Good work overall, are you planning on expanding this Vig with more figures, or is this little vig "complete"? Quote
El Bucanero Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Don't say it's awful! It's great! Very well executed.. And that shield is indeed a very nice touch. I never thought the monkey-shield would come handy but you've proved me wrong! You seem to like fleshies don't you? A nice bignette. Mr Tiber Quote

Mr Tiber thank you sir. I do like fleshies very lot, I consider them to be normal. As in my battle for the world folder, you can see that yellow still can be used with fleshies. wich face do you mean with starwars face? I only used 2 harry potter heads and a paul gasol (bb) head. TT The most Spanish looking flesh tone face would be the Professor Karkaroff one which can be found in the 4768 Durmstrang Ship set. Looks kind'a mean too >8-) Quote
conductorjoe Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Very nice! 8/10 I believe the shield is from a Knight's Kingdom set, it was the green guy's shield. Quote
