draganb Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Some of you may remember the first version of my UCS tie interceptor. I wasnt entirely satisfied with the cockpit, so i completely redesigned it and did some work on the wings as well. I tried my best to match the official movie model as best as I could What do you guys think? Quote
Saint Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Wow ! Only thing I can see is that the "bulb" seems to be facing a little bit upward , instead of straightforward... or is it just me ?? Grtz Saint Quote

Grtz Saint could be a bit of part flex going on making it seem offset, or camera angle. i like it, i just wish there was a clear piece to fit the gaps in the front. that, and the fact i don't have one like this are my only two points to pick at :p other than that, it's a super clean job. i love the angles towards the rear of the cockpit "pod?" keep up the good work! Schneeds Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I like your substitute design for the widescreen--it looks very menacing. Quote
Chills Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Interesting ideas on how to solve tricky problems with LEGO. However, the ball looks a bit large compared to the size of the solar panels. Also, the connector joints appear to be thin; you might want to try beefing them up a little. Quote

I'm still trying to find a cure for that Interesting ideas on how to solve tricky problems with LEGO. However, the ball looks a bit large compared to the size of the solar panels. Actualy, if you look at the official model, the cockpit is the right size relative to the solar panels, but you are right about the joints, they are a little on the thin size. I'll try to work that out in v3 :) Edited November 27, 2014 by draganb Quote
Kodan Black Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Yeah the wing sag makes the cockpit appear to be rotated up a bit. Sadly at times the medium makes it difficult to overcome some obstacles. Overall it is very sleek and fast looking, just like it should! Nice work. Quote
King Aragorn Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 This is huge ...and fantastic too! Quote
Frankjaeger Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Could you share the instructions? I would love to build one for my collection. Quote
