J. Abba's Luxury Air Barge

Just received the advanced copy of the new book Steampunk Lego by Guy Himber with the J. Abba Luxury Air Barge on two page spread (pages 142-143).

This is the Jabba's Steampunk Barge that I've built back in January 2008 and placed third in the first FBTB Steam Wars contest!

It was first featured in the BrickJournal Steampunk issue 16 November 2011.

For a build that's 6 yrs old this still holds up as a fantastic MOC and captures the steam punk vibe perfectly.

There's a real opulence about it with so much going on... you really get a sense of how the ship is powered with the balloons and the chimney stacks.

I missed this the first time round but it's a joy to finally see!
